Despite its tinge of fear, the Golden Wolf asserted, “You must be joking. You want to entertain me with one demon transformation pill? If you don’t hand over the amber divine stone, I’ll make sure you stay here for eternity.”
“Uncle Xiao, what material is amber divine stone?”
“It’s barely inferior to bloodthirsty devil crystal. It’s categorised as a divine material that can evolve into a Celestial Weapon.”

“You’ll make me stay? I’d like to see you try.” Her white garments highlighted her body in all its glory.

The golden wolf swung its tails with so much force it was akin to listening to thunderclap sequences. Yuan Xia released a colourful aura flicked her hand to form a glowing colourful seal. The heavy winds it picked up smashed onto the golden wolf’s tail. The seal transformed into dozens of colourful chains that bound the huge tail to the void.
The golden wolf let out rock-splitting roars, extending its tail to over three hundred and thirty metres to wriggle its way out of the chians. As it swung its tail randomly, it took down mountains and boulders. It swung down on Yuan Xia from overhead. Yuan Xia poked the air, sending ripples into the void. A phantasmal finger stretching kilometres speared through everything in its way to intercept the tail.
“You have some nerve hurting me, wench!”
The golden wolf raised a mountain-sized leg to stomp Yuan Xia. In response, she levitated to the sky. She rained down a jade finger powered by a colourful and devastating aura over three thousand three hundred and thirty metres down from above.
“Uncle Xiao, who will win?”
“… Hard to say. The wolf is a Mutated Beast from ancient times. He’s an almighty to begin with. That being said, the girl is very powerful. I’d even guess they draw. People as powerful as her usually decide matches with ultimate techniques. She’s definitely from some powerful association. Don’t look down on her.”
The golden wolf could call lots of Spirit Beasts in for reinforcements, but it didn’t do so for ancient Mutated Beasts’ had an ego to defend.
The battle raged on for about a day. By then, the majority of mountains were flattened. The wolf was started to feel the effects of the drawn-out battle, yet its aura remained daunting. Yuan Xia cut its tail, but the wound already turned into a scab.
Yuan Xia was starting to get sick of fighting; she showed a hint of frustration. If their fight brought a Great Demon from the heart of the mountains into the equation, then she would be in a pinch.
Yuan Xia: “I’ll give you an extra demon transformation pill. The amber divine stone won’t serve you much of a purpose, anyway. Two demon transformation pills should suffice!”
“Haha, you triggered me, which means you can forget leaving this place even if you give me ten.”
“Bring it on, then.”
“You think you’re intimidating? Give me your best shot!”
The golden wolf’s body glowed golden as it powered up. Yuan Xia pulled her jade phoenix hairpin out of her hair. Her hair then radiated a myriad of colours. As a result of her nimbler movements, her movements resembled an illusion.
The wolf’s power increased further and further, turning the area around into a golden field. Yuan Xia imbued her hairpin with her energy, generating a tangerine glow. She fired the hairpin from her hand and then expanded it over three kilometres long. She stood the towering hairpin up in the ground. The colourful phoenix on it woke, left the hairpin, then soared toward its target as a lethal weapon.
“Uncle Xiao, what grade is that weapon? It’s remarkable.”
“It’s evolved into a Celestial Weapon.”
“Go!” commanded the Golden Wolf, shaking the sky with its loud bellow. The golden sea rose and poured down from the sky.
The indomitable phoenix flew into the void and fired a colourful energy blast down onto the sea. The energy blast parted the sea and opened a path.
