Almighty – Ch. 831

Strike

Gao Yingjie was relegated to watching Yao Xuan take the interspatial ring his elders risked their lives for. Yao Xuan laughed maniacally. The elder delightfully congratulated Yao Xuan for a job well done. Her delight came from the fact she would be promoted for her contribution.

“I’m here to rain on your parade.”

“Who goes there?” Yao Xuan tensed up upon hearing the voice.

“Just someone passing by,” replied Yang Tian, in a different voice to avoid turning himself into a target.

“I am Celestial Fiend Hall’s Yao Xuan. Please come out and meet me,” replied Yao Xuan, searching around. “Damn it. Don’t tell me it’s a monster from some other faction.”

“There’s no need for us to meet. Just leave the ring there and leave.”

“Hahaha…” laughed Gao Yingjie, hoping Yao Xuan wouldn’t be the one to leave with the ring.

“Do you not think you are being too demanding? Our adepts have this place surrounded. If you are not afraid of a fight, come and take it.” Yao Xuan furtively took out a jade talisman.

“This place has been barricaded; there’s no reason for more drivel.”

The elder hadn’t recovered and wasn’t confident she could win. Yang Tian brought down a golden hand enhanced with Rule Power. The elder swiftly spat out a small red sword hidden in Blood and Essence. The hand sundered the hand. After easily rending the hand, the elder figured out Yang Tian wasn’t an Immortal Cave Realm adept. That was frustrating but also good news since she was confident she could kill him at his level.

Yao Xuan powered up and punched, splitting the area.

“I may not be an Immortal Cave Realm cultivator, but I’ll still body you both!”

“Hmph, shameless boy, you’re still wet behind the ears!”

Yao Xuan shook the air with a punch, but it only lasted a second. He thundered, “Come out, coward!”

Yao Xuan had never lost to anyone in the same realm as him before.

Yang Tian took his time emerging and wore an ambiguous expression. He wanted to test out his new cultivation out.

Unable to tolerate being deceived, the elder brayed, “Kill him!”

The elder fired the small red sword at Yang Tian. He flicked pentachrome energy at the sword. With a smirk, he summoned pentachrome light from his sleeve. He chuckled and decided to take the sword. The pentachrome light wreathed around the small sword and took it.

Elder: “What just happened?!”

Yao Xuan rubbed his eyes.

The elder juddered and coughed blood. She realised Yang Tian destroyed her item. “Shameless brat!”

Yang Tian’s fists glowed as he powered up and prepared to punch down on the Elder’s head.

The elder brayed, “Get lost!”

Yao Xuan couldn’t punch as hard as Yang Tian could. She and Yang Tian both felt the brunt of his force when she retaliated with a palm strike. Yang Tian was lucky the elder wasn’t at full power, or he might’ve died since he wasn’t wearing his armour.

Dao recitals reverberated in Yang Tian. His ten deities sitting above his qihai punched, enhancing Yang Tian’s next punch to the point he was confident enough to try and tag her with it. Sensing the explosive power behind the punch, the elder warned, “Get out of here, Young Master!”

The elder managed to endure Yang Tian’s full-power punch, but she struggled to stay standing. Yao Xuan was reluctant to run as there were elders blocking their paths in every direction. Yao Xuan resorted to activating his fiend Bloodline.

“You forced my hand. Aaarrgh!” shouted Yao Xuan, wrathful.

Yao Xuan faced the sky and roared as he bore the pain. He grew to ten metres tall. Using Celestial Fiend King Punch, he fired off. The punch generated massive shockwaves. Yang Tian clenched his teeth and powered up further. Yang Tian answered with three punches.

After taking a third punch from Yang Tian, Yao Xuan started to slide backward. He felt the crushing impact shoot up his arm.

The black bear smugly appeared and laughed. “Young Master, my foot.”

Yao Xuan was enraged a mere bear would insult him. “I’ll grant your death wish!”

Yao Xuan fired his Bloodline in every direction. The bear flinched and sped off.
