Almighty – Ch. 830

Barrier Jewel

Ancient trees were strewn. Mountains quaked. Tornadoes blew. Beasts fled. Energy blasted.

Gao Yingjie’s combat robe with a yin and yang symbol was awesome.

“Young Master, please allow your slave to subdue him before trouble comes.”

Yao Xuan coldly nodded. “You’re right. Better safe than sorry. Hurry and subdue him.”

The elder nodded and turned to the girl. She snickered. “I must skin you and rip you apart to appease my young master’s anger for offending him.”

The frightened young girl didn’t want to die. Gao Yingjie snickered and grabbed her shoulder. A Yin Qi and Yang Qi beam shot out from her forehead. Panic-stricken, she screamed. She didn’t know that was the seal placed within her.

Gao Yingjie, aloof, said, “Hmph, your True Yin is gone. I don’t have any use for you anymore.”

The girl thought she could get in Gao Yingjie’s good graces with her looks but was betrayed in a surprising turn of events.

Yao Xuan: “That’s their cult’s forbidden technique. Take him down now!”

Yin Yang Divine Cult often set the seal on female slaves and used them as keys to ascend to higher realms when they plateaued. It was their cult’s exclusive technique.

The girl wore a horrified look as her skin wrinkled rapidly. Gao Yingjie absorbed the decades of vital essence she cultivated for himself via the two beams she fired from her forehead. He then frigidly watched the elder approach.

The elder summoned a golden bowl and fired a divine beam at Gao Yingjie, who snickered and stomped. Gao Yingjie powered up. The Yin Qi and Yang Qi formed a large yin and yang symbol spinning in the sky. The two Qis transformed into two divine dragons and charged at the golden bowl.

Yin Qi and Yang Qi were capable of attack and defence.

“You think you can kill me?!” Gao Yingjie summoned a small golden pagoda into the sky and fired beams from it.

Yang Tian reduced his pace when he sensed the fighting up ahead. He smiled when he figured out their path was blocked. He noticed Yao Xuan, so he snorted. “I guess it’s Yin Yang Divine Cult versus Celestial Fiend Hall.”

Gao Yingjie still wasn’t strong enough to defeat an Immortal Cave Realm adept after his power up. He summoned a red and circular jewel. Seeing the Crimson Jade Blood Jewel, the elder jumped back. The jewel was a natural artefact and could deal serious damage. The elder didn’t expect to see the jewel from Long-Lost Divine Realm. Yao Xuan also retreated.

Gao Yingjie snickered. “Die, Old Fool!”

Gao Yingjie hurled the jewel. The elder judged she couldn’t evade in time; therefore, she extended the bowl three hundred metres high to shield herself. Crash! The jewel exploded on impact, causing a big red blast in every direction. The bowl cracked in multiple places. The cracks split until one last blast crushed it to dust. The elder grimaced and groaned in anguish. Yao Xuan had panic written all over his face.

As he watched the landscape reduce to nothing, Gao Yingjie snorted and ran off into the void because staying there worried him and he didn’t want to risk losing the map. Yao Xuan, however, saw him run. Yao Xuan, therefore, sneered, “Hmph, you think you can escape, Gao Yingjie?!”

Bang! Gao Yingjie smashed into a wall, bouncing backward. There was a jewel emitting fiend energy up in the sky. That was the barrier Yao Xuan erected. It wasn’t perfect as there was a time limit.

The elder on the ground got up in a battered state. Half of her arm was amputated. Gao Yingjie knew his chances of survival just dwindled when he saw the elder still alive and kicking. Contacting an ally for help wasn’t possible owing to the barrier.

“Kill him!” ordered Yao Xuan.

The elder snickered and vengefully reached out. Boom! Yao Xuan discharged his fiend energy to finish Gao Yingjie.

“It’s time.” Yang Tian touched his nose and jumped in between the three before they realised it.

The elder was injured, but she could still use Rule Power. Gao Yingjie was busy coughing blood and hanging on for dear life.

The elder said, “Young Master, I think he has their race’s Divine Soul marking on him. I think we should finish him and take the map back to our clan.”

“I agree,” replied Yao Xuan, nodding.
