Almighty – Ch. 213

Big Transformation

Yang Ba sat opposite Yang Tian, grinning every now and then. Yang Tian didn’t die. Instead, his cultivation progressed significantly.

As golden mist descended into Yang Tian’s body, turning him hazy, he recovered. A golden strand of blood seeped into his skin and strengthened his body. The wisps of golden blood glowed as they were slowly refined and seeped into every inch of his skin, eventually showing signs of him shedding his old skin. His life force was strong once again, evident from his cheeks. Soon enough, he was coated in a cocoon and golden mist, basically turning him into a pupa.

“I think this will take a long time,” Yang Ba opined.

Taking advantage of the potent ancient qi around for some time would help boost one’s cultivation substantially.

Yun’er felt her tension ease when Yang Tian was fine. She went to the formation up ahead instead of cultivation. A rock had a notable luminous pattern on it and exuded a strange vibe for the reason it contained mysterious energy. “How come there are so many killing formations in here from Formation Sect? Could their disciples have set it up?”

The formation resonated with Yun’er similarly to those of a family. The intimacy came from the energy residing within her. She found many of the formations to be types she had never seen before after she went inside. Still, that didn’t mean she didn’t couldn’t comprehend how formidable they were – at least more than she could overcome.

Yun’er went up to a boulder and examined the patterns on it. Yang Ba noticed Yun’er fall silent, evoking an eerie atmosphere. He sensed her presence start to fade. He soon realised it was Harmony between Nature and Mankind. He sensed her energy recovering and prowess progressing. He couldn’t believe she ascended to the next realm without any hurdles.

There was a mysterious and potent energy covering a big formation in the area.

Yang Ba: They’re all interlinked killing formations, and there are three Peak Celestial Weapons. No wonder why they couldn’t break in. And this is only the outer perimeter.

The two coffins by the entrance contained two monsters that were still alive.

Xiaobai wagged his tail, praying the bloodstones inside hadn’t all been dug out. Because Yang Ba’s aura resembled Yang Tian’s, Xiaobai wasn’t apprehensive toward him. Similarly, Yang Ba took a looking to Xiaobai after their journey together.

Yang Ba signalled with his hand. “Xiaobai, come over.”

Xiaobai hopped onto Yang Ba’s shoulder and bounced on it. After playing trampoline for a while, Xiaobai bit on Yang Ba’s clothes and indicated for him to go inside. He thought Yang Ba would be able to break the rock inside and extract the premium bloodstone. Yang Ba couldn’t deny the little fellow in the end. Therefore, he went inside with Xiaobai.

Yang Tian was still unconscious. His subconscious spurred him on, but he didn’t have the energy. He lived in a black and white world resembling a prison that confined him. He went through a rollercoaster of emotions during his long stay there. In reality, he was in a stage of shedding his old self and being reborn.

Ten days later, Li Clan’s ancestor showed up at Hundred Thousand Mountains but was unable to locate Yang Tian’s whereabouts. The Autarch Realm adept’s journey to Hundred Thousand Mountains caused a lot of noise amongst the demons. One old Demon Sovereign stepped out of seclusion to warn Li Clan’s Autarch Realm adept to leave the place.

Lu Clan’s only Autarch Realm adept had lived for ten thousand years. Additionally, his source of life suffered an injury some time ago, leaving him with not much longer to live. He, therefore, left the mountain.

He was at the age where very few things, except the Bloodline devouring sword, interested him. That being said, he didn’t want his clan to make an enemy out of a powerful foe. His generation’s era was soon coming to an end. He held on to the belief that the next generation would outshine his. An Autarch Realm adept could easily declare themselves a monarch.

Foreigners came in search of Yang Tian’s group, only to soon leave for there was nothing in the east that interested them. Eastern Continent was known for being too weak to produce a noteworthy elite.

Li Clan had an extolled individual amongst their ranks. He was at the border of Battle Emperor Realm and the next patriarch in line. He found out the sacred grounds also had worthy challengers through his news network, but they were all in training. They were the type to lay low until it was time for the reveal.

A fair number of people claimed Yang Tian’s potential was limitless despite his abysmal cultivation because he was able to fight on par with holy descendants who yet to fully develop. Nevertheless, his recent situation led to people wondering if the expectation-defying underdog would fall.

The heavyweights went all out to nurture adepts for whether or not clans rose or ended up buried in history was on them.

Glossary

Li Clan’s Autarch Realm adept’s age – The ten thousand years year doesn’t go according to 365 days but 355 days in a year calendar (lunar calendar).
