Almighty – Ch. 829

Oriole Behind the Mantis and Cicada

Lights illuminated the sky. Yin Qi and Yang Qi floated in the air. The energy around tried to restrain it. Cultivators rushed to the battlefield. Yang Tian checked around before pulling out an ancient mirror. Using the mirror, he shone a special light down on himself. He travelled through the void with the mirror overhead hiding him.

Five adepts were locked in battle. There was an audience around. The two elders from Yin Yang Divine Cult worked in synergy as if they were one and the same person. The two were actually twins and grasped Yin Yang Qi Divine Furnace together daily. One possessed a Yin body and the other a Yang body, allowing them to use the Qis separately or in conjunction with one another. They were both supposed to be dead at their age, yet they were alive. Their skin was wrinkly and dry. Their hair… They barely had any. That said, their qi and blood was potent, and their physical strength left no room for doubt.

One elder fearlessly asked, “Celestial Fiend Hall, Ancient Sword Hall and Celestial Feather Sacred Grounds, are you declaring war on our cult?”

Voice booming, an adept from Celestial Fiend Hall replied, “Hmph, Second Elder, there was no rule stating we couldn’t snatch it.”

Skin as sharp as blades enhanced with Qi, an adept from Ancient Sword Hall replied, “Yes. It’s too important. You don’t have what it takes to search the place. Let’s share.”

Celestial Feather Sacred Grounds: “You can take the lead if you want. It’s a risky place to venture too, and we don’t want to make enemies, either. Think about it.”

Yin Yang Divine Cult elders: “Haha, that’s wishful thinking. You three think you can stop us? Know where you stand.”

The three were incensed.

Yang Tian touched his nose. He knew Yin Yang Divine Cult had a contingency plan. The two could’ve escaped via a void, yet they were there running their mouths. There was a chance they were stalling for time. The three adepts were confident they had trapped the cult within the barrier they erected, nevertheless.

Yang Tian emerged where nobody was around. Unable to detect the fragment on the two elders, he furrowed his eyebrows. He supposed they allied with Black Desert Hall to smuggle the item out. If that was the case, he didn’t know where to start his search. The nightmare dragon had a suggestion, fortunately. “Try to activate the map using your Bloodline; you might be able to locate it using your Bloodline.”

Willing to gamble, Yang Tian nodded, especially when considering it was his ancestor who left it behind. He took out the three fragments he had. He summoned purple energy to his hand and eagerly waited for a reaction. The golden light jumped onto the pages and created a purple path on it. He held his breath and sent his mental self into the map.

Somewhere 1500 kilometres away from the battlefield, a youth and girl sped off somewhere. His aura was cold. She dressed revealingly and exuded the vibe of a barbarian. Both of them were fast. The youth suddenly stopped and looked at the map glowing purple. God forbid he knew what was going on. The girl screamed, “Yingjie, what’s happening to it?”

“Black Desert Hall didn’t tamper with it, did they?” asked Gao Yingjie.

“Tampered? That’s correct, but you won’t get a reward.”

Gao Yingjie hostilely looked over in the direction the voice came. “Yao Xuan!”

Yao Xuan sniggered. “We have an herb called Celestial Fiend Herb. The only thing it’s good for is hunting someone.”

Girl: “You’re courting death! Yin Yang Divine Cult won’t let you walk all over us. I suggest you run along. Once our adepts arrive, there will be no mercy.”

An elder arrived behind Yao Xuan. “Hmph, a lowly maid is going to threaten my young master?”

The girl reacted afraid as she never detected the elder.

Gao Yingjie wore a grim expression.

Yang Tian was four hundred metres away. He had picked up on the map’s location and was on his way there. He noticed the map stopped moving. He was confident with Yang Xiao’s new body control technique.
