Almighty – Ch. 236

Auctioning Premium-Grade Bloodstones

Many heavyweights, not to mention two heavyweights from Central State, arrived during the day, indicating the upcoming convention wasn’t just another convention. Yang Tian scratched his head, assuming that something about it stirred people. His chances of cracking the top ten was relatively slim. If he could reach Soul Tempering Realm, then maybe he had a chance.

When golden rays shone onto the steel-cast city the next morning, Yang Tian opened his eyes and headed out. He and his brother made eye contact and headed out. He needed to buy a lot of divine soul herbs, meaning going around with Meng Clan would raise suspicion.

As they walked, Yang Tian came across many impressive young individuals headed to the auction held by Pill Valley at a resplendent, towering palace that could easily fit tens of thousands of people.

The purple palace underneath the sun radiated brightly. The structure at the top resembled a purple sun. It was there to display extravagance. Sentries guarded the passages. Yang Tian headed to the inspection zone once he was done examining the surroundings.

There were few people present, but none were pushovers. Anything that qualified to be displayed at the auction was considered precious and unique. Yang Tian and Yang Ba lined up at the rear. It took approximately ten minutes before they could get in front of the people at the door handling appraisals.

A woman twenty-eight years old stated, “Esteemed guest, please your items you wish to auction.”

Yang Tian nodded and handed her an interspatial ring. She inspected the contents then returned it. “Esteemed guest, welcome to the auction.”

Yang Tian had five million mid-grade bloodstones in there, which was a huge sum, yet the woman looked indifferent. He quietly remarked, “Pill Valley sure is wealthy…”

In front of Yang Tian was a regal purple and gold hall over thirty square kilometres in size. The place was borderline silent for nobody dared to make a peep. Two maids led the Yang brothers to a room. They learnt that there were over a hundred item appraisal rooms, indicating Pill Valley’s adepts were superior to the sacred grounds.

“Please take a seat,” expressed the white-haired elder inside. Once the brothers were seated, the elder pursed his dry lips. “What do you two need to be auctioned? This old one needs to examine the items.”

Yang Tian placed an interspatial ring on the table. The elder glanced up to him after getting a glimpse of the ring. He couldn’t figure out why the kid was auctioning something. He picked up the ring and inspected it with his divine soul energy. The most valuable item was the dragon beard herb, which Yang Tian reluctantly offered. There was also a three-leaf divine flower and two five thousand year old herbs from Martial Arts Mountain.

Yang Tian thought Pill Valley wouldn’t be interested in his herbs since they were extoled when it came to herbs and pills. The elder forced a smile. “Esteemed Guest, your five herbs meet the auction’s standards. May I ask if you have any requests with regards to its sale?”

If the elder could sell the herbs, he’d receive a big commission.

Yang Tian deliberately put on an enigmatic façade and placed an interspatial ring on the table. The elder was thrilled with what his eyes beheld. Judging from the look in his eyes and his hand rubbing action, it was a dead giveaway that whatever treasure it was would be excellent. Yang Tian, for one, had a mouth twitch, wondering if the elder was auctioning the items and why he was so excited.

“Ar-are you sure you want to sell these?”

There was no way to appraise three fist-sized premium-grade bloodstones and twenty thumb-sized ones.

“Yes. Is there a problem with that or them?”

The elder quickly wagged his hand, fearing he’d lose the opportunity. “Oh, no, this old one was just flustered.”

“I want to exchange them for divine soul herbs, including the premium-grade bloodstones.”

“Exchange them for divine soul herbs?” The items Yang Tian offered were rare enough to rival divine soul herbs, so it made little sense. “Ahaha, can we discuss something?”

Yang Tian had goose bumps. “What do you want?”

“Hehe, this old one has two divine soul herbs. Would you be interested?”

Yang Tian found himself put on the spot. The elder took out the two aforementioned herbs right away as fast as he could. Before Yang Tian were two ran four herbs. They were low rank, but they were quite old. One of them was three thousand years old. Frowning in an annoyed manner, he questioned, “How much do you want for them?”

“Just one. Just one is enough.” The elder  wanted it for his young grandson.

“Ugh. Fine, it’s yours.”

“Haha, thank you… thank you.” The elder brought out a golden token. “This is your status. The items you are selling make you a VIP. Do not lose this token.”

Yang Tian left right after taking the token.

“Do not forget you have to pay a registration fee for the items you auction.”

Yang Tian nearly tripped when he heard the voice.

The elder watched Yang Tian leave as he chuckled slyly. He looked back at the interspatial, desperately trying to contain his greed. He didn’t sense Yang Tian’s aura emission either despite being at Battle King Realm Peak. There was also the Battle Emperor adept who wasn’t too old. The elder sighed and headed to the auction grounds.
