Menacing Lightning Dragon
The dragon behind the clouds was so menacing and large the area wasn’t big enough for it. The lightning behind the clouds burst and destroyed every except the rock with formation carvings on it once.
Yang Tian summoned Sun Quirk and hurled it as wildly as a hurricane to intercept the dragon, yet it only stalled the lightning dragon for a split second before the dragon resumed its advance. He activated the divine markings on Golden Crow Divine Furnace, starting an intense flame inside and giving the furnace a fiery glow. The furnace expanded to over three hundred metres tall. Like a millstone, he rained down flames to cut off the dragon’s charge.
The dragon bore grabbed Golden Crow Divine Furnace in its lightning claws. The dragon scratched the furnace, firing off big sparks. The furnace rumbled and spun. In turn, Yang Tian’s insides were roughed up the same way.
Yang Tian spat a mouthful of pristine qi and blood onto the furnace, waking the three-legged crow, with one golden leg among the three, on it. The crow had much more power than seen as only a small portion of its intelligence had been woken up after ages. The furnace stopped moving then set the void ablaze with golden flames. The lightning dragon powered up prior to charging toward the crow. The three-legged crow went up to meet the latter in a clash. The ascending crow ripped a hole in the lightning dragon. The lightning enveloping the furnace crackled loudly.
It took ten minutes for the furnace to puncture the lightning dragon in multiple places, drastically weakening it. As for the furnace, it lost its glow and was hanging on by a thread.
Yang Tian’s breathing grew laborious. Irate but with no other option, he consumed an assortment of pills Yang Xiao refined from vitality water as their main ingredient. Though rare, it was harmful to abuse them for they would cause lingering effects. Having recovered his qi and blood, Yang Tian imbued the furnace with them and commanded, “Manifest!”
The furnace illuminated an intense fire. The three-legged crow let out a high-pitched scream, spread its golden wings and stood imposingly. Golden flames dispersed similarly to an erupting volcano and blasted the lightning dragon. Not one to take it lying down, the dragon blasted lightning back at the fire blast.
The fight was so demanding Yang Tian was unable to keep up physically and mentally. He controlled Dubhe Divine Sword using his divine soul energy. He transformed it into a beam of light and fired it at the dragon’s head.
The sword was able to successfully scratch the dragon’s head. Yang Tian summoned a purple lightning bolt to his finger.
Yun’er: “Is Brother Yang Tian an alchemist? It hasn’t been two years since he reached Warrior Realm; I’m assuming he’s not a very advanced alchemist yet. His purple lightning bolt seems a lot more formidable than what a beginner alchemist would be capable of, though.”
The lightning dragon was evidently unsettled when it set its sights on the purple lightning bolt because it sensed intelligence.
Yang Tian pursed his lips into the smile of a killer and muttered, “I guess any lightning apart from Wrath of Heaven won’t be able to harm me from now.”
It was crazy to think a lightning dragon would know fear. In any case, that meant the heavens knew fear, as well.
