Almighty – Ch. 814

Meeting Yun’er Again!

Yang Tian forgot about Merit.

“It’s not on you.” Yang Tian glared.

Xin Yu smiled. “Xia’er, you’re okay with it, right?”

“Um… I…” whispered Yuan Xia, looking down at her feet.

“Mother, stop it already,” griped Yang Tian, Heaven Restoration Divine Cauldron in hand.

Yang Tian fired a golden wisp of relaxing light onto Xin Yu. It alleviated the heat and cleared away her sweat, restoring a pink tinge to her cheeks.

“Hurry, it’s working,” said Yuan Xia, smiling.

Yang Tian nodded and repeated the process three more times.

Xin Yu radiated; she touched her body without any pain.

“Mother, you’re not happy that you’ve healed?”

Xin Yu shook her head. “Are you two still getting married?”

Xin Yu didn’t know why the two didn’t plan to marry.

“Let us discuss it another time, Aunty.”

Yuan Xia poked her tongue. She looped her arm around Xin Yu’s and left to avoid making Yang Tian feel awkward because she knew what he was thinking.

Nightmare dragon: “You’ve supressed the curse for now; however, you have to kill the caster as soon as you can because it’s been in her for a long time.”

Yang Tian nodded. He didn’t mention it to his mother to avoid worrying her. He then went over to Yun’er. He released the cauldron into the sky. He took in a deep breath, clenched his fists and shut his eyes. He bestowed a wisp of Merit on her. The golden energy made her glow golden. She exuded benevolence. He followed the wisp into her body. It was so sad to see her empty Wheel Sea. He was disappointed time and time again, because he failed to find Yin Source.

Yang Tian sighed, “So what if I have more Merit.”

Nightmare dragon: “You can try calling her from here. It might work.”

Yang Tian sat cross-legged. He moulded Merit into a clone of himself. The clone sat down and called out to Yun’er.

Yun’er sat alone inside peacefully. She was learning something unknown, something that inspired her back when the purple Qi reached the space.

Yun’er opened her eyes. The purple Qi in her eyes dispersed. She fixed her gaze on a void. She saw wisps of golden light that were soothing and warm. It brightened up the space she was in. She stood up and asked, “Who is it? Is that you, Brother Yang Tian?”

“Yun’er.”

The void sounded so close, yet so far. Tears welled up in Yun’er’s eyes. All of her emotions were on the verge of bursting. Who could understand the torment she was going through in the cold and darkness? She ran and cried, “Brother Yang Tian… Brother Yang Tian…”

“Yun’er…” The voice came closer gradually.

Yang Tian shuddered. He heard Yun’er’s cries. He heard them. He suddenly released more Merit. “Break through!”

Rumble! The space trembled. Golden light spread.

“Brother Yang Tian…” cried Yun’er, in a meek voice, when she saw the golden Yang Tian

The dream was too surreal to Yun’er. The golden light strengthened her vital essence.

Yun’er jovially cried, “Yun’er… Yun’er!”

Yang Tian was surprised the strategy worked. Normally, one couldn’t enter the spiritual realm. However, Merit could.

“Brother Yang Tian, it’s me. It’s me.”

Yun’er raced toward Yang Tian. Tragically, the two were basically holograms, so they could only look at each other – what a pity. After trying to touch each other, Yang Tian’s body started to distort and eventually crumble. He shouted, “Yun’er, wait for me. I’ll come save you. I’ll become the strongest in the world if that’s what it takes. Wait for me!”

And… darkness fell again after Yang Tian’s voice faded. The filament of Merit remained inside the empty space.

Yun’er tragically shouted, “I will wait. I will…”

Glossary

Yuan Xia’s way of referring to Xin Yu as “aunty” is a relatively intimate way of addressing someone not family, older – and female, obviously.
