Almighty – Ch. 669

Snow-white Robe

She was an ethereal beauty in a white robe, sporting black and shiny hair coming down to her shoulder as well as a face veil. He was respectful to her. She swept everyone off their feet. Even Yang Tian stole a glance. He was somewhat annoyed she interrupted his deal, however. The only one who could compare to her was Yuan Xia among those he knew.

There was a twenty-five-years-old youth accompanying her. He was besotted with the girl. He, too, was refined and handsome. His name was Ming Ye, someone Dan Chen and many others recognised. He hailed from Profound Divine Sea, a mysterious faction with ancient Inheritances and more power than Pill Alliance. He was yet another genius.

The girl in white widened her eyes at the sight of Yang Tian for a brief moment as she walked. She looked to the black iron sheet next. As such, Ming Ye asked Yang Tian, “Would you be able to let me have that? This one is willing to pay double the price for it to make it up to you.”

Could it be a treasure, everyone wondered. The elder took a few glances at it and shook his head. He still couldn’t figure it out, so he sighed.

Yang Tian: “Sorry, but this one has paid for it. This one does not sell that which he likes.”

Girl in white: “Forget it…”

Ming Ye clenched his fists because the girl sounded disappointed. He spoke to the elder directly. “Three drops of dew is a rather cheap price for it. Are you sure you want to accept the loss, Elder?”

Yang Tian frowned. Not even genius Yang Tian anticipated that move. The elder ignored the youth and just sat there, though. Ming Ye felt awkward and annoyed. Still, he didn’t step out of line when the elder was dangerous. Others found Ming Ye’s situation amusing for they were cognisant the elder never shamelessly sold something he already bought. Yang Tian liked the elder’s response; he held the sheet in his hand. Ming Ye didn’t give up, though. Ming Ye asked, “You are not willing to sell what you like, was it? This one offers ten times the price.”

Some questioned whether the youth actually had thirty drops of dew.

“Sorry.” Yang Tian shook his head. He didn’t like Ming Ye.

Embarrassed in front of the girl, Ming Ye was furious. He wanted to kill Yang Tian as he watched the latter leave.

The girl Yang Tian feared finally spoke up. “Wait…”

Is she going to fight him for it, people wondered.

The last reckless person to start a fight was killed instantly at the place.

Yang Tian clenched his fists. He looked over his shoulder with a smile. “Is something the matter?”

The girl responded, “You misunderstand. There will be a gathering at Purple Forest Villa tonight. Would you be able to make it?”

That was the first time livid Ming Ye heard her inviting an outsider.

Yang Tian smiled. “Sorry. I have other business at night. Thank you for the kind offer.”

Ming Ye raised his voice and made it imposing enough to come off as a threat. “She rarely invites anyone. Learn some manners!”

The girl ignored Ming Ye. “I think you’ll be interested. There will be an auction with precious items.”

Elder in his chair: “Purple Forest Villa is a peaceful place. There’s nothing to lose. There are lots of youths similar to you there. Normal folks aren’t allowed there.”

Yang Tian turned back to the girl and smiled. “All right. This one shall be there.”

Ming Ye was angry Yang Tian ignored him.

The girl nodded and headed up to the third floor.

“Why not come up for a look?” Ming Ye chuckled derisively before following after the girl.

Yang Tian snorted to himself. He wasn’t an Autarch Realm cultivator, so he couldn’t go up to the next floor.

Yang Tian went for a stroll. He wasn’t sure what type of pill to concoct, so he couldn’t recklessly exchange pills. He soon headed out.
