Almighty – Ch. 476

Meeting Yuan Xia By Chance

Chaos Light was almost all gone. The nine leaves flower’s power grew. Its sprouts shook to escape the Chaos Light. A Chaos Physique appeared in the sky. Dubhe Divine Sword shook. Purple and gold lights expanded. Sword Auras burst. Cracks appeared, stopping the lightning.

“Let’s go!” shouted Yang Tian.

A force sucked in residue Chaos Light, growing the divine statue. Yun’er grabbed her nine leaves flower. The statue trembled. Mountains shook. It unleashed a golden lightning bolt at the descending lightning. Yang Tian leapt up and blasted golden wisps from his fingers. The statue sighed and let the rest of the Chaos Light go to enter the door.

Creatures and human prodigies arrived not long after they left. Speculations that a soulstealer devil flower, a carnivore plant notorious for its massacres, was the culprit arose. Said flower killed humans and demons indiscriminately in the ancient times until the two races’ adepts combined their might to vanquish one. Their combined might was necessary as the flower was on par with Divine Beasts.

“If it was a soulstealer devil flower, Dao Deity Mountain is going to be chaotic. I hear Mount Yi, Mount Qingiu, Mount Pan and Nanhai’s creatures are formidable. I also heard lots of Divine Beast heirs are joining!”

“Tsk, tsk, I heard even Divinity Sect from Central Plains is joining!”

After their conversation, they left.

Chubby and Xiaoji appeared to check out the concealment formation. Chubby could tell Yang Tian’s “girlfriend” set up the formation, meaning Yang Tian was fine. They arrived at the valley’s ruins the day before.

Yang Tian’s group appeared five hundred metres away from their starting point. Dahu tried to ask for the transportation technique. Yang Tian couldn’t teach it to anyone else without Yang Xiao’s permission since the latter imparted it to him.

Dao Deity Mountain was scheduled to open soon. As they were at a place where many creatures gathered, Dahu aggressively seized one and interrogated it for directions. The creature refused to submit to Dahu’s underhanded threats. As a result, the pitiful creature had to watch Dahu steal the herbs it guarded for years.

Yang Tian summoned golden energy to his fingertips. He could transport them two hundred and fifty kilometres effortlessly. The door he summoned was made from golden crystal, so it was golden. He stepped inside. He was tired after several uses. He took a break to absorb energy around before repeating.

Dahu was impressed with Yang Tian’s recovery rate. He didn’t have the foggiest idea how long Yang Tian had spent inside Ancestral Dragon Ring and was unaware he required more energy than Ancestral Dragon Ring could provide.

Following a day of travelling, Yang Tian needed to find a place to rest before continuing the next day. They were close to Northern Desert City. The walls were red. Stones and sand littered the floor. The sun was hot. Plants were rare to chance upon.

Kilometres later, Dahu, mouth dry, saw an ancient city at the end of the horizon. Xiaoqing couldn’t work out why they’d open Dao Deity Mountain there when he observed the people up ahead.

“Let’s go check it out. I wonder what’s going on with so many strong individuals inside,” voiced Yang Tian.

Yang Tian put Xiaoqing inside Ancestral Dragon Ring. He and Yun’er changed their appearances. They headed into the city. People observed the powerful duo.

Northern Desert City was situated at the intersection of Eastern Continent and the West’s Demon Kingdom. The walls were old and grey. Demon geniuses frequented it. It was populated with humans and creatures. There were countless geniuses. Hawkers selling herbs, pills and martial techniques were set up along endless columns.

Dahu: “It sure is bustling here. I guess they’ll be opening Dao Deity Mountain here.”

Yun’er spotted a creature with bright eyes, two wings and hovering in the air. “Mm, that’s a strange demon.”

Yang Tian pursed his lips. “Don’t discuss.”

Yang Tian paused, then fixed his gaze on a maiden in white – Yuan Xia! Nobody dared to approach her despite her beauty for there was a prodigy superior to Dan Chen accompanying her.

Yun’er: “Isn’t that Sister Yuan?”

Yang Tian took in a deep breath and nodded. Jealousy surfaced when he saw her talking to the youth attired in white. “Let’s go greet her.”

Yang Tian walked over, hands as cannonballs. Part of his goal was to see how strong the youth was. Dahu hid. The youth went on the alert when he sensed the duo approached, while Yang Tian marginalised him, gaze trained on Yuan Xia. The distance between them didn’t feel so significant after her last assist.

Yuan Xia turned around feeling tense until she noticed the girl with Yang Tian and relaxed. She was ignorant until Yun’er winked, telling her they were wearing disguises.

Yuan Xia: I thought he was familiar.

The youth questioned, “Holy Maiden, do you know them?”

Yang Tian reacted to the words “Holy Maiden” as it spoke volumes about Yuan Xia’s status if considering the youth’s strength. Before Yuan Xia could reply, he looked askance at Yuan Xia. “Of course we do!”

The youth froze for a second at the sight of roses blooming on Yuan Xia’s cheeks, but he quickly collected himself and grew hostile toward Yang Tian. The youth was able to see inside Yang Tian’s body, so Yang Tian condescendingly commanded his Divine Dragon Soul Sealing Ornament above his Divine Soul to block the youth’s gaze out. The youth turned pale. More shocking than anything was the sight of Chaos and Dao recitals.

Yuan Xia was surprised the youth’s scout skill was countered. She used Voice Transmission to communicate with Yang Tian. “Get going. You can’t afford to offend him, and keep your identity hidden.”

Yang Tian found Yuan Xia’s warning offensive. “Who’s he? And what’s your relationship with each other?”
