Crisis!
Clang! Subsequent to Yang Tian breaking free of the celestial peng’s restraints, he penetrated the celestial peng’s light shield to slash the jadeite claws. The celestial peng pushed back, winning the clash. Losing one claw tip wouldn’t bring it down to Yang Tian’s level. Both then powered up for another exchange.
Aware of the celestial peng’s speed, Yang Tian needed an alternative approach to head on clashes. He released Sword Aura into the void. The two engaged in another series of clashes, with the celestial peng opening a wound on Yang Tian’s chest using its feathers. The celestial peng saw through his Unfettered Omnidirectional Steps and surpassed his speed.
Yun’er didn’t intervene, as she knew Yang Tian still had enough to give.
The two clashed again. Suddenly, Xiaoqing, who almost finished evolving, unleashed golden waves enhanced with golden lightning. Yang Tian, therefore, explosively retreated and healed himself. The celestial peng fired a seal with golden lightning wreathing around. Yang Tian called on his five Dao Physiques and powered up Black Devil’s ability. Finally, he swung it in an arc at the seal.
Clang! Black Devil vibrated. Boom! Yang Tian flew into a rock and fractured bones. Bang! The seal reversed and went for Yun’er.
Yun’er tensed up and blasted an emerald seal back at the golden seal. Boom! Her attack ended the celestial peng’s assault, albeit leaving her pale, short of breath and bleeding from her mouth. Jumping at the opportunity, literally, the celestial dapeng prepared an attack.
The white tiger king finally noticed Dahu with its eyes narrowed and was surprised to detect its Bloodline within Dahu.
Dahu fired a hand-sized golden sword at the celestial peng, pleasing the white tiger king with his bravery.
Offended a creature beneath him tried to attack him, the celestial peng thundered, “Your death wish is granted.” The celestial peng’s body was too tough for Dahu’s new sword, thereby snapping it in half.
Dahu shuddered but courageously roared back, “You damn bird. You just destroyed my sword!”
The celestial peng found “Damn bird” offensive. The white tiger king was speechless. There was no saving Dahu anymore. The celestial peng spat a golden lightning bolt at Dahu. Dahu was too weak to resist it; he shrieked. The zap almost killed him.
