Yang Tian Awakens!
The upper echelon of Central State learnt of Yang Tian’s awe-inspiring name after his fight with Li Clan. Adepts secretly searched for him and his Divine Beast in the half a year he was missing. People extolled his achievements. Nothing pertaining to Li Clan and Li Qingxue – barring their utter defeat – was heard of after the clan’s fall. Weapons that featured appearances at the battle caught attention.
Xiaoqing lied on the dry grass and relished the comfortable golden rays on him.
Yun’er’s appearance reflected off the clear lake surface. A sudden boom startled her. She peered over to the cave in the distance. The cave boomed epically again. She smiled upon sensing Yang Tian awoke more powerful than ever. Xiaoqing jumped up cheerfully and flew over brimming with excitement.
All of Yang Tian’s internal organs and qihai had evolved. His aura blasted the formation around open. He looked around and mumbled, “Where am I? How long have I been awake for?”
“Brother Yang…” called Yun’er, breaking Yang Tian’s concentration.
Yang Tian zoned out when he noticed Yun’er’s affable aura. Xiaoqing flew over and cheerfully patted Yang Tian on his shoulder to bring him back to his senses. Yang Tian gave an awkward smile for the reason he didn’t know why he spaced out.
Yun’er twisted her body side to side with a charming curve on her lips. “Brother Yang, you’ve been asleep for half a year. I was so worried.”
“Half a year?!” exclaimed Yang Tian, stammering. “What about my brother and Yuan Xia?”
After she shuddered, Yun’er clasped her hands and pulled her eyebrows together as she didn’t know how to respond. Yun’er’s reaction gave an indirect answer enough to form an inference from.
“Did something happen to them?”
“No, no,” replied Yun’er, hastily waving her hands. Once Yang Tian calmed down, she mulled on her thoughts before meekly notifying, “Sister Yuan left a few months ago. I think something urgent came up.”
Yang Tian was relieved to hear Yuan Xia was safe and sound. “What about my brother?”
Though she initially minced her words, Yun’er eventually recounted everything after Yang Tian pressed her for answers. After hearing the entire story, Yang Tian stumbled back and panicked. He rushed into Ancestral Dragon Ring. Three Divine Soul lights jolted on the ground. Two belonged to his parents, while the other was Yang Ba’s, meaning they were all safe and sound.
Since Yang Ba’s light still shone, Yang Tian surmised somebody rescued him after he self-destructed. However, a worse scenario then popped into mind; the probability the devil race abducted Yang Ba existed, as well. Realising the latter scenario was possible, Yang Tian curled his fingers into steely clamps, and his body shook.
Taking into consideration the devil race’s interest in his Bloodline and the enmity between his clan and the devil race, Yang Tian remembered Yang Xiao. Thus, he dove into Ancestral Dragon Ring and searched for Yang Xiao. He panicked more and more as he searched. He stabbed his fingers into the soil to restrain himself. “Uncle Xiao will be all right. Mountains and Rivers Cauldron spirit is still alive. He’ll be fine if he summons the spirit. If he’s all right, why has he not returned to me?”
Upon searching further, Yang Tian realised his nightmare dragon was also missing. Regardless, he needed to prioritise finding out what transpired afterwards that day, since he was sure Yang Xiao and his brother would be fine. He calmed himself and returned to the outside world.
