Almighty – Ch. 444

Dao Deity Mountain Scheduled to Open Soon

Xiaobai eventually reasoned it would be a good chance to leave while Yang Tian was still asleep. He figured Yang Tian would be awake by the time he returned.

Xiaoqing was glad to have the chance to fly after being cooped up for so long. Familiar with Yuan Xia, he circled around and cheerfully cheeped. However, Yuan Xia was knew what he was thinking. “Xiaobai, are you leaving?’

“Yes. I have to go back and inherit the Inheritance. I should be back soon.”

“Don’t worry about Yang Tian. I’ll take care of him.”

Xiaoqing accompanied Xiaobai several kilometres before the latter told him to head on back. Xiaoqing waited for Xiaobai to vanish out of sight before returning.

Two months later and they still didn’t hear any news from the outside world.

Yun’er was lucky she had the first part of the manual; else…She had to mindfully suppress her unique aura after cultivating Nine Yin Divine Body in case somebody detected the nature of her body. Yuan Xia, therefore, regretted giving Yun’er the manual.

One day, Yuan Xia shuddered back to reality and looked up to see the void rippling. Xiaoqing also sensed it; he soared up and chirped. Yuan Xia waved and told him to pipe down because she recognised it was her clan’s Voice Transmission technique.

Boom! A golden sword burst out from the void. Yuan Xia caught it with her finger. She pursed her lips and concentrated for a brief moment. She learnt Dao Deity Mountain was opening in less than a year. She lingered before glancing over to the immortal’s cave and heaved a heavy breath. I have to go, or the clan will find fault with me.

Although Yuan Xia was meant to immediately return home after she obtained Mountains and Rivers Brocade, one thing after another led to her delaying her return.

“Xiaoqing, I have to leave for some time. If anything happens, crush this jade slip.”

Xiaoqing flew circles in front of Yuan Xia. Though despondent he was the only one left – since Yun’er was cultivating in seclusion – he took the jade slip in the end. Yuan Xia had a piece of Chubby’s formation platform, so she could speedily return to them if anything happened, though Yuan Xia prayed it wouldn’t be necessary.  Xiaoqing returned to the immortal’s cave with Yang Tian after Yuan Xia left.

Yang Tian’s aura had returned to its previous status. Nevertheless, he was still asleep because he was in another realm and benefiting from his luck. His power systems were all a notch superior to previously. His quirks were alive and kicking. His three-legged crow had regained its power but was still far from its maximum potential. Quirks and Deification evolved together, meaning they could be evaluated as a martial technique that could progress into a divine skill. Having said that, he would need luck, to view and emulate his three-legged crow’s divinity and some Bloodline to do so. His three Dao Physiques absorbed vital essence to heal the wounded two.

Yang Tian finished refining half of the core milk in the pool, increasing the strength of his body by over a third. He had the dragon transformation pill to credit for the most part as it changed his body. Because he practiced Dao Sutra, his pores could autonomously absorb vital essence, allowing him to refine elixirs in his body.

Another month went by, and Yang Tian’s body rumbles were epic. His two wounded Dao Physiques emerged stronger than ever. Xiaoqing, who was at the cave entrance, woke up and went up to Yang Tian, who was absorbing white mist from the pool and growing stronger.

Xiaoqing scratched his head with his golden wing. He took out a jade vial. Xiaobai dripped approximately a thousand drops into the pool prior o leaving, worried Yang Tian didn’t have enough. He even borrowed a drop from the small divine herb.

Xiaoqing couldn’t enter Ancestral Dragon Ring, so he dripped the small divine herb’s drop into Yang Tian’s body, resulting in the latter booming epically again. It was so intense that it escaped from his nose and mouth.
