Yuan Xia didn’t waste too much time fiddling with her stone. She commanded her circling phoenix to soar to the pagoda.
The youth donned black armour with black magical text on it when he looked up at the fiery red phoenix flapping its wings.
The youth commanded his hovering bone pagoda to charge up and fire a divine white beam at the divine phoenix. The phoenix swung its claw enhanced with scorching divine flames back. One clang and the claw vanquished the beam before firing down a divine flame that took ages to form at the youth. The youth powered up his battle armour and fired the black text on it upward. The clash resulted in high-pitched screeches.
The divine flames quickly surrounded the youth and began to melt his holy light. A sudden vibration came from the mountains, and the bone pagoda fired a violent beam at the divine phoenix. Yuan Xia hurled her divine stone straight at the pagoda, rocking it. Nevertheless, the pagoda was as mighty as ever; it retaliated with a white wave of energy.
The youth emerged again. His assumption he had more absurdly high-quality artefacts compared to others was proven false. Yang Tian stole his purple qilin horn; Yuan Xia sparked his pagoda. Resorting to his next trick, the best ability an Overlord Body granted, he fused his black and white energies, a technique requiring potent divine blood.
While the energy provided a short burst in output, it required proper control. Otherwise, it would inflict damage on its user. If he ascended to Almighty Realm with the skill and his artefacts, he would be a force to be reckoned with.
From his head, he summoned a golden dragon with lightning coiling and energy rippling the air around. With a wave of the youth’s hand, the losing bone pagoda hovered overhead on its own. Blood-red marks suddenly surfaced on it, indicating Yuan Xia wounded it. “Curse you for damaging my weapon!”
Yuan Xia couldn’t see his face clearly due to his new glow. She generated a rainbow at her feet and soared up to meet him. Using her finger, she commanded her divine phoenix to gust up a divine inferno tornado.
The youth fired his golden lightning at the divine flames.
As Yuan Xia and the youth faced off on one side, an Autarch Realm adept finally acquired the power to escape Yang Xiao’s Green Celestial Flames.
