Yang Xiao laughed nostalgically. “That’s only a glimpse of its divine power. If its true potential was revealed, it would be able to kill adepts with its aura alone! In the hands of our former patriarch, he could easily cover an entire domain and annihilate all life within.”
The aggressive devil dragons bellowed. They hated humanity and wanted to kill them as they had been sealed there for as long as they could remember. Thousands of diabolic black lights gradually collected in the sky. The rays of lights were akin to swords that bent the air. As they attacked, they slashed mountains apart and cracked the void Mountains and Rivers Brocade sealed, uncovering a dark cave.
Yang Xiao: “By the looks of it, Mountains and Rivers Brocade’s wielder is only an Almighty Realm adept.”
Aware that it would spell trouble if the dragons obtained a Divine Item, Yang Tian questioned, “What is the plan, then?”
“Let’s wait and see. Even Fire Source would avoid taking on the three devil dragons together.”
The devil dragons blasted Mountains and Rivers Brocade with everything they had, leaving the void cracked in many places. With such a severe lack of heaven and earth energy in the area, the wielder’s cultivation was hampered, meaning the Divine Item wasn’t able to function at its true potential. It showed when Mountains and Rivers Brocade began to shrink after two attacks, losing the deadlock.
“Hihihi, damn humans, so what if you have a Divine Item,” jeered the devil dragons, in a loud voice.
The destructive black lights from the ocean of blood had Mountains and Rivers Brocade surrounded.
Yang Tian’s Bloodline stirred during his moment of tension. His purple dragon roared. He immediately knew it was Yuan Xia. Hence, he focused his eyes on the black field.
The pentachrome phoenix was able to burst through the dark lights using its divine light. The phoenix flew into Mountains and Rivers Brocade. Their fusion illuminated a divine light, erasing the black light from the void. The sky and earth quaked as the empyrean inside the brocade awoke. Mountains and Rivers Brocade shrouded the sky again and descended on the ocean of blood.
“Uncle Xiao, can she win?”
“I believe the Spirit Weapon is using her Bloodline’s energy. Since Mountains and Rivers entity has fallen asleep, I doubt the Weapon Spirit can withstand much more. The outcome will depend on whether or not the three bugs have a trick up their sleeve.”
“The Spirit Weapon’s function sure is remarkable.”
“Unfortunately, it’s going to be in a slumber for a long time after suffering trauma to that extent…”

The dragons’ rage incited an ocean riot.
The monster hammered the void with a punch. The pentachrome phoenix blasted a pentachrome flame against the fist. The phoenix soared up and swooped down with pentachrome flames on its wings. The dragons pummelled Mountains and Rivers Brocade with a barrage of punches.
The phoenix widened its eyes and slashed the ocean, incinerating it with the pentachrome divine flames. Then, it tried to lop the dragon’s head off with another swing. The dragons blasted black divine light beams from their mouths simultaneously. A large-scale shockwave of qi resulted from the clash.
