Mountains and Rivers Brocade!
The three devil dragons slew half of the creatures within, but they weren’t much better off with other devil beasts running rampant.
A lightning user Mutated Beast fired black lightning poured into the ocean of blood from above. The three dragons churned up all of their energy to stop the attack.
The crocodile jumped into the ocean, resembling a meteor crashing down. “Die!”
A shining silver monster with six wings flapped its wings, stirring the ocean. The three creatures joined hands for a big fight.
Yang Tian pursed his lips. “I did not think we would drag so many powerful beasts into this.”
Yang Xiao: “Let’s just watch and see. We won’t be able to leave with them fighting.”
A devil dragon summoned claw-shaped blood rivers. Three creatures howled, destroying the claws. The dragons turned the creatures swept into the ocean into nourishment. It was very hard for them to kill their three foes, however. If they prolonged the fight, the ocean of blood would take damage.
The lightning wielding Mutated Beast fired a lightning blast at the ocean, splitting the ocean loudly. The silver monster then flapped its wings, gusting gales toward the opening. The crocodile in the ocean parted it and fired red spears from its eyes toward the three dragons.
The dragons didn’t want to let the three creatures go as their blood and essence could substantially reduce the time it took for their king to emerge.
The Earth quaked, and a menacing aura surfaced when they froze. The three creatures were horrified; they quickly fired qi and blood to amplify their abilities and flee from the ocean.
The devil dragons were glad they could sense their king’s aura as it indicated the three items could no longer seal them.
Yang Xiao looked to the pillar of light that had dimmed considerably. Mountains and Rivers Brocade’s aura wasn’t as great as before. He wondered if Yuan Clan collected their Divine Item, as well. If news got out, other clans would also learn of Buddha Pagoda.
The devil dragons noticed the two pillars of lights’ energies weakening. The assault the creatures launched was peculiar, leaving no room for carelessness. Yang Xiao, therefore, felt tense and teleported him and Yang Tian into Mountains and Rivers Cauldron to hide from the devils.
The atmosphere outside was particularly oppressive. Divine markings didn’t affect the three dragons swimming in the ocean. Eyes on Mountains and Rivers Brocade, one, in a cold voice, demanded, “Come out!”
That told Yang Tian there was someone inside the divine pillar.
Yang Xiao notified, “Mountains and Rivers Brocade’s Weapon Spirit must be in trouble. Else, they wouldn’t have realised there was someone inside. “
Yang Tian suspected it was his clansmen who sneaked in during the chaos; it was the most plausible guess. That said, it wasn’t going to be easy to have a Divine Item recognise one. Yang Tian was an exception since he was Yang Clan’s patriarch.
A hole opened above three devil dragons when they were busy smirking Mountains and Rivers Brocade unleashed a wave of energy. A qilin and a pentachrome phoenix emerged from it.
The person who entered could very well be the item’s master back then since they could activate it.
The three devil dragons aggressively blustered, “Cursed human! You’re no getting away!”
The three devil dragons mustered up everything they could offer to activate the ocean of blood’s ability at maximum output. The waves rushed toward the brocade. Mountains and Rivers Brocade also expanded and released its divine might, bombing the ocean with mountains. The clash flattened the area and blew qi breakers in every direction.
