Almighty – Ch. 362

Splendid Location

Xiaoqing couldn’t stop his claws from striking the black icestone. Freezing upon contact, he plummeted into the ground. Xiaobai immediately sped over with a delighted look, teasing Xiaoqing with his gaze.

Wary, Xiaobai slowed down but couldn’t resist the urge to touch the boulder. Like Xiaoqing, his fur stood up and he fell.

The small divine herb strutted over with her pigtails kicking around.

The cold energy was enough to cause harm. The two gradually went up in white mist. The cold energy rampaged inside them. Xiaobai turned as red as a furnace. Xiaoqing juddered. His divine markings activated and energy cleansed his stiff body, relaxing it.

Yang Xiao communicated with black icestone’s intelligence.

Having absorbed the cold energy form the antique dark river, the black icestone was almost ready to spawn a body, though it would a long time compared to divine herbs assuming human forms.

Yang Tian went to a corner of Ancestral Dragon Ring and formed a lake over three square kilometres. He filled it with the cold water from the bottom of the dark river to welcome the black icestone.

Xiaobai and Xiaoqing were too scared to approach the cold water after their previous experience.

Yang Tian: I wonder how  much damage would be caused if the ice-cold water invaded a city.

Out of nowhere, a scroll shone a golden light around.

Yang Tian’s qi and blood surged to activate Mountains and Rivers Scroll. He levitated it, then expanded it to three square kilometres. The hot golden beam shot through the water. After just the single attack, he looked somewhat pale. Not even Yang Ba could wield the scroll for too long.

A mountain on the scroll activated, stirring the ice-cold water as a whirlpool and sucking it in. For the record, the scroll had enough room to fit the entire river. The altar in front glowed and stopped the water from coming in, creating a scene similar to light beams rising.

Dao Physique supplied Yang Tian with energy to pour the cold water into the scroll. Fifteen minutes later, he consumed a premium-grade bloodstone to replenish his energy in order to resume. It took two hours before he filled the scroll. He was glad he had enough within to freeze an entire large city.

I can’t wait to give Li Clan a taste of this.

Yang Tian energetically swam toward the top of the dark river.

On the other side were the dead trees. There were also skeleton racks dozens of metres high by the shore. The vengeful skeletons had mysterious patterns on them. The place once had a spiritual spring cultivators loved, and everyone on Eastern Continent shared. Unfortunately, it dried up long ago.

There were Mutated Beasts and more along the long path Yang Tian travelled. Technically, Yang Xiao steered Yang Tian’s body through the sky and warded off the beasts using his Celestial Flame. He had only encountered one nightmare dragon so far. Yang Xiao wondered why there was so little natural energy when there should’ve been some left behind from the deaths. The thought of someone taking it crossed his mind.

Xiaobai picked up something on his radar. Overjoyed, he hooted. Yang Tian instantly stopped and scrubbed Xiaobai’s head cheerfully. Xiaobai leapt up to Yang Tian’s shoulder and wagged his tail, pestering Yang Tian to hurry up.

They crossed through a barren area. Yang Tan stopped upon seeing verdant plants he wouldn’t see anywhere in the place reeking of death. There were also clear lakes. As he approached, the stench of death dispersed. Strangely, there wasn’t a soul or bug in sight or an audible sound. The further he went the more lush the plants were. Among them were large vines resembling snakes crawling up a small mountain. The trees were hundreds of metres tall. Vitality and energy were found in abundance.

Yang Xiao: “The heaven and earth energy here doesn’t pale in comparison to that at Pill Valley.”

Xiaobai started hooting with his gaze fixed on the numerous of palaces with purple glows around.
