Demon Token
Having pledged to become Yang Tian’s sworn brother, the gorilla was in a dilemma and embarrassed, hence the bouncing. Yang Tian nervously looked at the two beasts. He couldn’t bear to part with Xiaoqing. He prayed the two wouldn’t go back on their word.
A violent aura swept through the area, dispersing the oppressive atmosphere and sending tremors through the ground. The sudden beast roars and disturbance startled Yang Tian. He vigilantly surveyed the space in front where it came from. Qing Yuan thought the Demon Deity aura was very familiar. The dapeng and gorilla zipped over to the void where it came from. A divine light burst from within to notify the intelligence Mutated Beasts of Primitive Forest it was time to prostrate themselves. A misty token emerged from the void passageway that appeared.
Qing Yuan: “It’s Demon Token!”
The dapeng and gorilla looked over to Qing Yuan, wondering how he knew of Demon Token. The beast duo almost forgot of the token’s existence as it had been that long ago since it last appeared.
The gorilla mumbled, “Something major must’ve happened at Demon Kingdom must’ve happened for Demon Lord to summon us.”
The dapeng let out a stifled roar. “Don’t know. Let’s hurry back.”
“Let’s go. Let’s go.” The gorilla just wanted to escape the embarrassment of defeat as soon as possible.
The dapeng cast its gaze up to Xiaoqing and waved its hand. Xiaoqing perched himself on it. The dapeng glanced over to Yang Tian and exhaled heavily. It wouldn’t be appropriate to take Xiaoqing with it; it was safer to leave him with Yang Tian.Its lips twitched.
Xiaoqing communicated using a secret method; Xiaoqing was unsettled for he, too, couldn’t bear to part. Only Yang Tian was glad the dapeng had to leave.
Xiaoqing eventually calmed down. The dapeng fired a golden beam into Xiaoqing’s forehead, leaving Xiaoqing with an Inheritance. The dapeng took out a small black seal and wore a golden chain around Xiaoqing’s neck. Xiaoqing affectionately called out and rubbed his body against the dapeng before flying back to Yang Tian’s shoulder.
Qing Yuan and Shangguan Hao couldn’t believe the dapeng’s descendant was friends with Yang Tian. There was no chance they’d believe Yang Tian defeated the man in white to take the egg, meaning Yang Tian’s Bloodline was what activated Ancestral Formation.
The dapeng threatened, “Kid, if anything happens to my heir, you know what’s coming.”
Yang Tian: “I will ensure Xiaoqing is safe and sound with me.”
“That better be the case,” stated the dapeng, peering ahead after observing Yang Tian for a long time.
Yang Tian was relieved to see the two beasts leave. His back was drenched in his own sweat, and he knew he had his ancestor to thank. Right as he let out that breath of relief, the gorilla belted from far away, “Kid, you won today. I’ll become your sworn brother once you grow up. You’re as weak as fodder right now.”
Qing Yuan nearly passed out hearing what the gorilla said. Shangguan Hao’s mouth wouldn’t work. Too much had happened in one day for them. Not to mention barely escaping with their lives.
Shangguan Hao: “Yang Tian, what’s this all about?”
Xiaoqing hostilely shouted at Shangguan Hao, discontent with the way the latter looked at him.
Yang Tian shrugged .“Haha, we just sparred.”
Qing Yuan: “You’re overpowered, man. You just beat the golden battle gorilla on your level.”
Yang Ba walked over to the trio and ran his eyes over Yang Tian feeling consoled. The duel with the ape revealed Yang Tian’s strengths. Yang Clan’s revival saw hope with Yang Tian.
Yang Tian asked, “Why are you two here, again? How did the dapeng end up capturing you two?”
Qing Yuan abstained from speaking but showed aggression. He didn’t expect Li Clan’s elder to accost Green Sun Empire or kidnap Lin Yuan.
