Awakening
Qing Xiaoyue panicked after Jiang Feng surprised her. At the same time, she lost all hope for the barbaric man she once placed her hope in. He violently tugged her and leaned his face in.
“I don’t think that’s appropriate.”
Qing Xiaoyue and Jiang Feng froze. Qing Xiaoyue was frightened when she saw Yang Tian. She had many questions for him.
“That’s your man? Hey, get down on your knees. I’m going to violate her right in front of you.”
Yang Tian’s eyes widened. “You enjoy that?”
Angry someone got to taste Qing Xiaoyue before he did, Jiang Feng scowled. “Shut up, dimwit! Kneel or I’ll kick your head in!”
Yang Tian walked over with a stoic look. His gaze had Jiang Feng quaking. Jiang Feng brayed, “Piss off! Piss off!”
Qing Xiaoyue kicked up Jiang Feng’s midline with her heels still on. Jiang Feng groaned and curled up. Sweat collecting on his forehead. He grabbed his crotch. Qing Xiaoyue was surprised she dared to kick him. She ran over to Yang Tian and asked, “What do I do? I didn’t eunuch him, did I?”
“Qing Xiaoyue, I’m going to kill you!”
Qing Xiaoyue took cover behind Yang Tian. Jiang Feng threw a punch. Yang Tian shook his head and caught the punch. Coldly, he said, “If you don’t want to die yet, get lost! I don’t want to start killing people as soon as I arrive!”
Jiang Feng felt a chill down his spine. He could tell Yang Tian wasn’t making an empty threat despite his reluctance to admit it.
“Get lost!” brayed Yang Tian, hurling Jiang Feng eight metres away.
Jiang Feng grunted upon impact with the ground and suspected he broke his bones. He wobbled up. He was as afraid as a man face to face with a devil. When he left and shut the door, he planned to threaten them, but Yang Tian’s hostile gaze shut him down. In the end, he threatened them in his mind and fled.
Qing Xiaoyue flinched and staggered back. She was unsure why she decided to hide behind Yang Tian. He touched his nose and looked around the house. He went and picked up the ring sitting on the table but left behind the jade book. He checked his clothing out, then glanced over to Qing Xiaoyue. Tense, she bit down on her lip and worried he would also try to rape her.
Yang Tian dawdled for a second, then decided to step outside, nodding before he did. Qing Xiaoyue was relieved to see him go. She glanced to the table, then glanced back to him. Before he walked out the door, she mustered up her courage to call, “Hey, are you leaving?”
Yang Tian nodded with a smile. “I have other business. Farewell.”
Qing Xiaoyue found Yang Tian’s speech mannerisms odd because he spoke the way someone from ancient China would. She asked, “Are you not taking the things on the table?”
“Consider it my expression of gratitude.”
Qing Xiaoyue didn’t expect the gift. She bolted outside, but Yang Tian was nowhere in the corridor. She had no idea what the jade book was; however, she knew it was so precious a war would break out for it.
The towering buildings, people and cars bewildered Yang Tian. He did not sense anyone with cultivation. He started to think he was at a commoners’ city. He touched his nose and wandered around to learn more about the bizarre and new world.
