Ancestral Garden
First Elder informed Yang Tian their valley had access to a secret realm, which was their valley’s first ancestral ground. They expressed the divine herb might have an opportunity to regain her memories there. Yang Tian nodded in agreement.
The important question was how many people would be allowed in when the realm opened because what if the one after the divine herb was amongst them? She was susceptible to dying in there in her current state. The answer was nine individuals. And, only the nine most trusted individuals in the valley were allowed inside. However, Third Elder was distrustful of Murong Feng, while the latter happened to be the guide for the trip.
Yang Tian sniggered. “Herb Deities’ Valley is heavily guarded to the point that not even Great Divine Realm cultivators could sneak in undetected, so it is unfathomable for them to sneak in and kidnap your princess. It has to be an insider job for them to go undetected. You should consider whether or not she goes before considering where she goes.”
“We would like to ask for her input.”
Yang Tian summoned the divine herb again. She shook her head and refused to go with anyone besides Yang Tian and Xiaobai to the dismay of the elders. Yang Tian was glad to hear that, and he expressed that by caressing her head, much to the chagrin of the elders. The elders had no choice but to rediscuss their plans. First Elder sent Third Elder an eye gesture to back down.
Yuan Xia questioned if Yang Tian really had to hand over the divine herb, to which he could only sigh for the meantime. He would never give her away; he would stay with her until she recovered her memories. Having said that, he had another agenda. First, though, he needed to consult the nightmare dragon about the first ancestral ground mentioned.
According to the nightmare dragon, the ancestral garden hid a big secret. The herb deity who created Herb Deities’ Valley was born from the ancestral garden that was not destroyed before Great Annihilation. Inside the garden was a vitality well that had been there for ages. It was the source of life for an entire star, or so it went. The well was the big secret. The divine water from it cleansed bodies and taught heaven and Earth’s profound concepts. Guess what? Those were all rumours.
Even if the well did not exist, it would still be such an amazing place one had to go see. Since there were only nine people permitted entry, Yang Tian was not sure he would be allowed in. Nonetheless, he was not in a rush to see it since the divine herb was healing just fine in Ancestral Dragon Ring. Furthermore, he had hope of finding other precious herbs as he had the map to Long-Lost Divine Realm.
First and Third Elder spent a long time discussing their next move in the palace. The best conclusion they came to was allowing Yang Tian to take the divine herb into their first ancestral ground. The first reason was Yang Tian was strong enough to protect her in there. The second reason was the divine herb clung to him and Xiaobai. Lastly, she might not forgive them if they harmed the humans she cared for so much even after she recovered her memories.
Third Elder took issue with the idea due to the secrecy of the place, citing not even he had been in there. Taking into consideration the risk of someone out to sabotage among their ranks and their priorities, it made sense to let Yang Tian in, nevertheless. If the divine herb could recover her memories, they could find out who harmed her in the first place. In the end, the entire discussion was a waste of time because they could not make the decision. Thus, they agreed to seek out Grand Elder’s input.
