“You don’t recognise him?” asked Yang Tian, eyes narrowed.
The small divine herb nodded then shook her head. “I don’t know, but I feel I’ve met him somewhere before.”
Yang Tian and Yang Xiao exchanged eye contact. Yang Xiao asked, “She only thinks she knows him. I think she might’ve lost some of her memories. It’ll be troublesome if she has.”
Yang Tian nodded. “I agree. If she did not know him at all, she would not have said that.”
The small divine herb flapped her eyelids. “Brother Yang Tian, who is he? Have I met him somewhere before?”
Yang Tian touched his nose and deliberated. Then, he sighed. “He might be your family member. We’re at Great Desolation right now.”
Small divine herb: “Great Desolation! My home… is at Great Desolation…”
The small divine herb gripped her hair and curled her lips. Her reaction convinced Yang Tian she had lost her memories.
“Brother Yang Tian, I can’t recall anything.”
“Don’t worry about it. Do you want to see him?” asked Yang Tian, pointing to Third Elder.
The small divine herb looked up and stared at Third Elder for a while before nodding.
First and Third Elder wrestled with their anxiety as they waited. She was too valuable for them to lose. Not to mention she could become dao. When she went missing back then, the entire valley was enraged and in turmoil. They once planned to attack sacred grounds to see if anyone kidnapped their young princess. She appeared in the outside world right as Third Elder was about to cave in and interrupt Yang Tian.
Everyone present was amazed. Xiaobai thought she had become quite a beauty. Third Elder shook and stuttered. Third Elder shakily caressed the small divine herb’s head. The small divine herm flinched and stepped back since he invaded her personal space. Yang Tian was the only person she trusted after everything she went through.
Xiaobai jumped in front of the small divine herb and pointed at Third Elder. “What are you trying to do, Old Man?!”
Third Elder frowned. The small divine herb was glad to see Xiaobai, who she had spent the longest with. “Brother Xiaobai.”
Xiaobai turned back to the small divine herb. He clasped her around her neck and kissed her on her forehead. She blushed and glared at him.
Third Elder and First Elder were furious. First Elder brayed, “How dare you violate her?!”
Kissing a noble princess was frowned upon.
The small divine herb fearfully took cover in Xiaobai’s embrace, startled after First Elder yelled. Xiaobai glared back at First Elder and clenched his fists. He glowed and brayed, “How dare you, Old Man?!”
Third Elder wondered, Is he a Divine Beast with a venerated Bloodline?
First Elder clenched his fists and snorted to himself.
Yang Tian glared back. “What, you want to cast the blame on us?!”
