Almighty – Ch. 850

Small Divine Herb Awakes

Murong Feng suspected they were speaking ill of him. Hence, he felt uneasy.

Third Elder: “What’s the matter with you, Feng?”

“Oh, nothing. I was just wondering what Third Elder is plotting. He must be talking ill behind your back.”

“Hmph, so what? He wouldn’t dare to try anything. I know First Elder is impartial.”

Mu Rongfeng’s expression changed. “That is true.”

Third Elder smiled. “Ancestral Garden will open in a few days. Seize the opportunity to reach Immortal Cave Realm in there. I will support you in the competition for the patriarch seat.”

Murong Feng nodded repeatedly. “I will. Thank you for the support, Elder.”

Third Elder was happy. He deemed Murong Feng worthy of the patriarch role despite the latter being human, as he possessed a divine body and grew up in the valley.

Since the small divine herb had lived for so long, she must have been close to the elder. If he was her family, Yang Tian would return her. Whether they were friend or foe was still up in the air, however. Plus, grasping dao divine flower granted her some of its Source, so her condition was also up in the air.

Third Elder, eager, sighed. “We once had a prodigious female disciple who manifested a quirk and even honey dew. She was hailed as the valley’s next successor. That was a joyous year for the valley. Unfortunately, she met with misfortune and went missing. Perhaps the heavens were jealous of her talent and decided to take it from her. Her life force still burns, fortunately, which is evidence she is still alive. I was the closest to her in the valley. I was part of the little princess’ life growing up. Therefore, I am familiar with her aura. Can you not tell me something?”

“If you have information pertaining to her, you can take any of the ancient herbs. You have my word!” said First Elder, anxious.

Yang Tian thought long and hard before replying, “I can tell you; however, you must promise not to hurt her.”

Third Elder’s expression brightened up, and he swore an oath. Yang Tian’s statement was absolutely meaningless because they hoped to see her more than anyone. Not to mention she was important to their factions’ development.

Yang Tian nodded with a smile. “In that case, I shall share what I know.”

Third Elder: “You really know where she is?”

Yang Tian smiled awkwardly and froze. Third Elder felt anxious because of the reaction. “What’s the matter?”

Yang Tian scratched his head and grinned. “Haha, the timing is just perfect. Please wait for a moment, Elder.”

First Elder frowned. What could he do when Yang Tian had the initiative? All Yang Tian did was enter Ancestral Dragon Ring because he sensed the small divine herb waking up.

Xin Yu: “Tian, hurry over here.”

Yang Tian smiled.

Light, more light and more light. Vital essence, more vital essence and more vital essence. A dao voice and scent burst.

Xin Yu was pleasantly surprised. “What’s this about, Tian?”

Yang Tian smiled. “The small divine herb is going to wake up at any moment now. She’s been asleep for decades now.”

Xin Yu: “Divine herb!”

The light shone brighter and brighter. The voice boomed louder and louder. Yang Tian was amazed – how profound. The small divine herb had completely digested the Source. The scent was more and more prominent. The scent represented life. The field of herbs cheered. Leaves rustled in celebration. The light split. Mist burst. The girl resembling a deity emerged from Dao Qi.

Yang Tian’s mouth was left gaping. Yang Xiao was astonished. The small divine herb’s body type was hidden behind a seal. Yang Tian couldn’t bear to part, but she had family to return to. He was too familiar with the pain of losing family members.

Lights, more lights, white lights shone. A small hand stretched out. The small divine herb stretched her back. She stepped out. The phenomenon coiling around her dispersed. She resembled a child, but she was legitimately holy. She smiled and said, “Hehe, Brother Yang Tian, Uncle Xiao.”

Yang Xiao: “Great! Great! Great!! Hahaha!”

Yang Tian scrubbed the small divine herb’s head and summoned her outside. He pointed to Third Elder and asked, “Do you recognise him.”

The small divine herb looked over. She pinched her eyebrows together and scrunched her face up.
