Almighty – Ch. 840

Five Elements Deity!

Jiu Bingyan didn’t realise Wine Deity was an individual and thought it was a haughty name. Yang Xiao didn’t pay much attention to her. Her surname suggested she was a descendant of Wine Deity. Five Elements Divine Wine was his special formula that he never shared with outsiders.

Yang Tian inquired, “Who is Wine Deity, Uncle Xiao?”

Jiu Bingyan listened in.

Yang Xiao answered, “Wine Deity and Pill King, Zhou An, are on the same level as adepts. Wine Deity is a genius, but his romantic life was tragic. As a consequence, he was left with a head of white hair and would drink himself drunk every night. He opened a restaurant and intended to lead a mundane life for the rest of his life. However, the wine he brewed enhanced cultivation and rivalled pills. His wine improved according to his cultivation, thereby promoting him to fame. Nobody knows where he learnt his wine brewing skills from. There are rumours he taught himself, while others claim he obtained an Inheritance from prior to Great Annihilation. Either way, he was so impressive Divine Realm adepts shamelessly asked for his wine.”

Jiu Bingyan, proud to know her ancestor was so incredible, asked, “What happened after?”

“The devil race emerged after. Wine Deity was one of the adepts who went to combat them. He saved so many human adepts with his wine. I’m not too sure what else happened.”

“So… did he leave behind Five Elements Divine Wine?”

Yang Xiao nodded and then shook his head. “I’m not sure if he was the one who produced it or not, but I do know it requires five herb kings to produce. It also contains Rule Power. Autarch Realm adepts will be bestowed an opportunity if they consume it.”

Jiu Bingyan: “That’s so amazing!”

Xiaobai wiped his drool and set up five jade cups. The jade gourd could store several types of divine wine, but those were the only five jade cups remaining.

Smelling the aroma, Yang Xiao warned, “Do not drink too much; else, you will be asleep for a long time. Also, there’s a point of diminishing returns. It’s extra potent due to having been kept for so long.”

Xiaobai nodded; he didn’t want to be in a long slumber. He dipped his finger in and licked the wine off. He felt his body on fire. His muscles contracted as part of his upgrade. His eyes bulged. He reached for the second cup. His pores absorbed vitality. He narrowed his eyes. He was sold.

Jiu Bingyan snapped out of her daze. She lowered her head and quietly said, “Please try it, Brother Yang.”

Yang Tian didn’t hesitate to have a nip. His qihai showed signs of levelling up straight away. He had three more drops. His qihai rumbled. Golden tides rose. He suppressed the turbulence. Each cup provided different benefits, ranging from body tempering, qi and blood boosting, Divine Soul refinement and Vitality Wheel Sea upgrades. His body boomed. His cultivation improved drastically in an instant. He could feel himself edging closer to Safe Manifestation Realm!

Yang Xiao proceeded to drink five more drops. Five drops were enough to instantly heal all of his wounds. He raced off to cultivate, indicating he grasped something.

Yuan Xia appeared.

Yang Tian smiled and introduced Jiu Bingyan. “Yuan Xia, this is Jiu Bingyan.”

Yuan Xia scanned Jiu Bingyan, then gave a small nod. “Hello.”

Jiu Bingyan smiled as the daughter of a noble household would. “Hello, Elder Sister.”

The corner of Yuan Xia’s mouth lifted. After Yang Tian introduced the wine, Yuan Xia was astonished. Its results were amazing.

Xiaobai eventually passed out on the ground, garnering a giggle from the two girls.

Yang Tian took some of the wine into Ancestral Dragon Ring with him for the three unique types. Dahei was asleep after ascending to Almighty Realm a few days ago.

Yang Tian asked Xin Yu, “Hehe, does it taste nice, Mother?”

“It does.” Xin Yu felt all her pain dissipate, and she glowed. She sighed. “If only your father was here with us; he would love this. He loves to drink. I wonder how he’s doing.”

Yang Tian started to tear up. “Mother, he will join us soon. We will soon be reunited.”

“I hope so,” accidentally murmured Xin Yu.

Yang Tian felt guilty for failing to fulfil his duties as a son. As he watched his mother fall asleep, he clenched his fists. He knew the devil race would have countermeasures the next time he tried to infiltrate their base. For all he knew, they might have had moved the prisoners.

Yang Tian returned to his physical body. He wondered what Jiu Bingyan’s ancestor would think of his descendant’s predicament.

Yang Tian didn’t comment on Yuan Xia trying to poke Jiu Bingyan. Yuan Xia summoned pentachrome energy and transferred it to Jiu Bingyan’s body to try and melt the cold energy. Jiu Bingyan sweated profusely; her body temperature alternated between cold and hot.
