Ginseng Tree
Many made exclamations of surprise because their life force was strengthened after a mere whiff. Every living being could become an adept if he was immortal and had all the time in the world to cultivate. Many questioned if consuming a divine herb would grant them immortality.
The nine adepts fighting Yang Tian were relieved as they found a reason to retreat without being ashamed.
Everyone rushed to the Dao palace, which was where the divine herb came from, since it was superior to the miracle stone. Plus, everyone expected there to be other treasures within.
Yang Tian softly scoffed and went to sit next to the miracle stone. He had a hunch the stone could benefit him. Yuan Xia was relieved; she smiled as she watched Yang Tian in the void. Yang Xiao was thoroughly impressed with Yang Tian’s performance in the battle. He also prayed that Yang Tian could obtain the two divine weapons, namely the divine golden staff and stone robe.
“Thank you for helping me, Elder.” Yang Tian returned the staff and stone robe to the miracle stone but couldn’t resist one last look at the staff.
The miracle stone shook as a form of response. Next, it surprised him; it passed the staff and robe back to Yang Tian! Then, even more amazing, it spoke. “I took off the stone robe in the first place. Consider my repayment for your Triad Divine Fire. I don’t have any use for it.”
“Elder, you can speak?”
Tone irritated, the stone replied, “Why are you asking the obvious? Would I be a mute if I could speak so much and so fluidly?”
Red in the face, Yang Tian scratched his head. “A apologise for my ignorance, Elder. I did not know the workings of your power.”
Miracle stone: “You’re a lucky one to have learnt One Qi Three Clones. I can’t believe you managed to obtain Mount Buzhou’s shell, too.”
Thrilled, Yang Tian clenched his teeth. “Do you happen to know what Mount Buzhou is?”
“Of course I do. I know everything…”
Yang Tian was speechless. He still didn’t know if the stone was referring to the golden combat robe.
Boom! A tree with overpowered cultivation manifested. Every leaf was lush. There were small white dolls laughing atop branches. The dolls expelled vital essence from their nose and mouth in every colour. The tree was a Ginseng Tree, a treasure around before Great Annihilation. One whiff extended one’s life span. One ginseng granted years of cultivation. It was recognisable to the top cultivators standing around.
The thirty-one ginsengs laughed without any regard for the people around.
Yang Tian: “It’s the Spiritual Root from before! How are there so many dolls?”
Miracle stone: “He’s assumed a human form since I last saw him!”
“You recognise him, Elder?”
“Obviously. You’re questioning me again! The dolls are the ginseng. They taste good.”
Ginseng trees were supposed to be extinct.
“Have you eaten one before, Elder?”
“Obviously. It tastes sweet and better than peaches.”
“Hehe, you have even eaten peaches.”
“You have any? I haven’t had one in a long time. Bring me several dozens.”
“Dozens…?”
“Hmph, the tree wouldn’t grow on normal soil. Look at the self-renewing soil below. That’s how it grows.”
“Self-renewing soil?” Yang Tian scratched his head and took a look. He didn’t see said soil, though.
“I smell a zhuyan ape’s aura on you. Let me see. I’ll get you some self-renewing soil.”
Yang Tian scratched his head. “Elder, what is a zhuyan ape?”
“You fooling me, runt? I can smell its aura on you.”
As Yang Tian tried to explain himself, the small crimson monkey jumped out. He was the size of a foot after his transformation.
Nightmare dragon: “This is a zhuyan ape.”
The nightmare dragon didn’t know how to raise the zhuyan ape, especially after it mutated. Hence, giving it to the stone for self-renewing soil was a good deal to improve Ancestral Dragon Ring.
Yang Tian: “Is it not a monkey? It is a zhuyan ape?”
