Void Trap Formation!
“What is Void Trap Formation?” asked Yang Tian.
Of course, Yang Xiao knew the answer. “It’s a large-scale formation derived from Empyrean Trap Formation. It requires four adepts to employ.”
“How do we dismantle it?”
“Once it’s activated, it’ll use the four adepts’ power to attack. Cao Clan’s four flags are named after the four celestial animals: Red Bird, Blue Dragon, Black Tortoise and White Tiger. The four flags are artefacts from the primordial era. They absorb the moon and sun’s vital essence daily to strengthen themselves. If used together, they’re even more formidable. I’m surprised they have Formation Flags.”
“Hmph, since we’re here, we might as well give it to them!” The white Yang Tian clenched his fists and fused with the spiritual line there.
Cao Feng came back and asked, “Where is Brother Bai?”
The green Yang Tian smiled. “Shifu just called for him. He’ll be back in ten.”
“I see…” Cao Feng supposed their shifu was an ancestor.
Cao Feng was friendlier upon returning.
More and more Autarch Realm cultivators gathered outside. The fighting intensified. Herbs and secret realms were blown apart, blockading the only path to the central area.
Yang Qi dispersed in the area out of the blue. Golden light came from a cave. The scent belonged to Sun Divine Water! Whilst some instantly began to search for the Xiantian divine artefact, some weren’t convinced it was real. Funnily enough, the one who thought it wasn’t true was someone Chubby tried to recruit.
Chubby: “Not true, you say? Are you saying all the adepts here are wrong?”
A golden beast: “Get lost. I just saw you trying to recruit cultivators. You found already, haven’t you?”
“Of course not, of course not…” He shook his head, but he regretted what he said. He, in essence, told everyone they were already searching for it.
The golden beast splattered the cultivator on the spot and said, “True or not, I’m going to go and see for myself!”
Bai Qian stepped out from the cave as everyone rushed toward it. “Th-the divine artefact can produce divine water!”
Chubby: “What? Sun Divine Water’s divine artefact?!”
The golden beast subdued Bai Qian. “Really?!”
Bai Qian: “Of course. Lots of cultivators’ interspatial rings are in there. There are heaps of treasures. I probably would’ve died in there had it not been for my divine talisman!”
Chubby: “Charge!”
“How dare you?!” An adept hiding around appeared.
Golden beast: “How dare a mere human cultivator question me?!”
Bai Qian: “You stole my interspatial ring. I’m going to settle the score with you!”
Yang Tian shook mountains as he attacked. The golden beam lit up the middle-aged adept’s organs and had him coughing blood.
“How dare you?!” Four adepts appeared and attacked Yang Tian.
Chubby: “You want to oppose me with only four people? You have a death wish!”
Boom! Chubby and Xiaoji led the charge.
“What?!” The four adepts exchanged eye contact. They couldn’t stop a hundred adepts at once.
“Hurry up and activate the formation!” screamed an elder, fleeing.
The voids rumbled. Lights shone. Formations formed. The cave was locked down instantly.
“Charge!” The golden beast swung his claw.
“Hand over the divine artefact!” shouted Chubby.
Rumble!
Blue Yang Tian: “What’s going on outside?”
“This is bad. Someone is mounting an assault on the cave!” The elder who fled entered.
“How dare they?! We shall assist Cao Clan!” raged Yang Tian.
“Fret not, Brother. Let me go and check first. We must apprehend the scoundrels.” Cao Feng hastily waved a hand. He couldn’t let his friend get involved.
The two Yang Tians nodded. “We shall wait here for your good news, then.”
Yang Tian snickered as he watched the ensuing chaos and scouted the interior of the cave using his Divine Soul Energy. His Bloodline gave him a kick. He noticed Cao Jiang exit from a room. His gaze turned frigid. He asked Yang Xiao, “Uncle Xiao, can we take the Fiend Mirror first?”
“Hehe, no rush. If we take it, it’ll alert them. We can take it once they have infiltrated.
Yang Tian clenched his fists and peered outside using his Divine Soul Energy.
