Escape from Hell
Ningxiu waved and poked her tongue upon recalling the time she rescued Yang Tian. “Sister, Brother Yang Tian is amazing…”
Ningxue smiled. “Of course. He slaughtered beasts from Dao Divine Mountain and set up a group of geniuses.”
The sky-shrouding hand froze the golden divine sea. Yang Tian commanded, “Erupt!” The divine sea exploded, sending out shockwaves.
Xiao Hai snickered. “Hmph, futile. I admit you’re strong, but you met your doom when you were matched up with me.”
Xiao Hai was right.
A huge cauldron appeared from the sky. Divine lights from within shot up to the sky to suppress the attack. Yang Tian fled. Xiao Hai snickered and cut him off. He immediately threw a palmed strike at Yang Tian’s head. “Let’s see you run from this!”
The palm strike was too fast. Yang Tian couldn’t evade. The palm strike suddenly slowed. How did Yang Tian know Omnidirectional Steps when not even Wu Li did?! Xiao Hai snorted. “I’ll find out once I capture you. I’ll be able to explain to Star River Sect how you know our skill, too.”
Xiao Hai planned to attack; however, Yang Tian’s Divine Soul energy zipping toward his forehead was superior to his own! Ningxue smiled upon recalling Yang Tian had a divine item. Combine that with his Divine Soul cultivation, which was amazing but close to Yang Xiao’s former level, and Overautarchs were fodder to him. To be fair, it wasn’t fair to compare Xiao Hai’s Divine Soul to Yang Xiao’s since the latter had cultivated it for ages; Yang Xiao was in a league of his own.
Xiao Hai’s Divine Soul, mind and body quivered in fear. Regardless, he quickly powered up, shaking the structures around. He shouted, “Get lost!” He palmed out countless divine lights with all of his might!
Boom! The hazy void exploded. The sea of blood split. Xiao Hai disintegrated Yang Tian’s attack using sheer brute force. Yang Tian took the chance to flee to Xiao Hai’s chagrin. Still, he chased Yang Tian down. Everyone around fled, since Unfettered Valley wouldn’t let their genius’ death go unaddressed.
Ningxiu curled her hair. Softly, she asked, “Do you think he’ll escape, Sister?”
If Yang Tian evaded being murdered at Dao Deity Mountain and was a fish to water, he was likely safe. Ningxue gave a small nod. “I do. If he’s captured, we’d already be alerted.”
Ningxiu smiled. “True. The one who creates legends wouldn’t die so easily.”
Wu Clan had nothing to gain. They needed to appease Unfettered Valley first and foremost.
Wu Clan: “Let’s go!”
Third Elder took in a deep breath. “Patriarch, what do we do? Xiao Yuan is dead. Xiao Hai will undoubtedly give us grief. Our clan is going to be in danger.”
Patriarch Bai clenched his fist. “We’ll have to take it as it comes. Bai Clan is no pushover. Let’s return and discuss this!”
Bai Clan’s backyard was a vast and lush mountain. Sunlight shone through. Yang Tian hid there. He smiled, thinking Xiao Hai wouldn’t be able to locate him. He wouldn’t have been able to escape via void travel; he’d likely have alerted Xiao Hai activating a passageway. He had to hide for Xiao Hai was too fast. He planned to come up with a plan to escape while hiding for a few days.
Yang Tian cleaved open a cave using Black Devil. He sat on a boulder inside and recalled the dangerous recent days. He went into Ancestral Dragon Ring and saw the young monkey sleeping, which put a smile on his face. “This guy is living much more comfortably than Xiaobai and Xiaoqing. Not even they got to eat the kui dragon’s meat. He’s transforming multiple times faster. He’s raising his cultivation level and mental realm merely playing in inside with the grasping dao divine flower.”
Yang Xiao was still lying next to the soul nourishment divine tree, but his condition had improved considerably thanks to the tree. He still needed time for a full recovery, having said that. Yang Tian spent a lot of precious Divine Soul herbs on him already. In fact, he was empty. That was why he brought out Xiao Yuan’s interspatial ring, believing it would have nice items.
Yang Tian sent his Divine Soul energy inside. He poured out a pile of things. He picked up the crimson flame furnace first and placed it aside. He noticed the strong sealed Divine Soul energy sealed within when they clashed. The strong seal suggested there was a Celestial Item sealed within.
There were five Divine Soul precious herbs; unfortunately, they weren’t very old. Yang Tian set them aside. After sorting through some more content, he picked up a jade slip. He was surprised there was no seal on such an important jade slip. Bewildered, he touched his chin and carefully sent his Divine Soul energy in.
