Almighty – Ch. 612

Corpses!

The atmosphere in the area of the dead was suffocating. There wasn’t a living soul in sight. Yang Tian looked around. The void up ahead rippled. The three leaders walked in the void. They were very strong. Their gazes were cold. The three approaching were dangerous. Yang Tian looked to the three observing from the void. One vanished out of sight. Yang Tian looked for the one who massacred his clan to imprint the face to memory. He kept going through the candidates before settling on the last one. Then, he harboured a thirst for blood.

One of Yang Tian’s uncles who loved him blew himself up to stop the Almighty adept for their clan’s sake.

Because the trio didn’t stop, an elder leading the enemies shouted, “Stop right there!”

Yang Tian brushed the elder off and kept advancing. He locked on to the evil elder. “You remember me?”

The elder wrathfully looked back. “Hmph, idiot. You can forget about leaving now.”

The group never let anyone leave in all the years they’d been there. The elder revealed himself to Yang Tian with his guard down. Black energy akin to big rivers appeared above Yang Tian. Yang Tian shook out his Chaos Light gently to blast the black rivers. Yang Tian glared and said, “I lied close to you back then. I escaped via a dimensional path. Did you forget?”

The elder was shocked Yang Tian was so strong. He pulled his eyebrows together. “You’re one of Yang Clan’s descendants who escaped?”

Hearing Yang Tian offer himself up, eight adepts in the void jumped with joy. Yang Tian then exclaimed, “Since you still remember, I’ll send you on your way first!”

“Celestial Dao Song!” Yang Tian levitated. His energy was comparable to a dragon’s. Divine sounds boomed. His Vitality Wheel Eye burned. Since he used a divine skill right off the bat, it was clear how angry he was. Dao sounds echoed.

The elder scowled, trembled, and turned deathly pale. He felt as if his brain was being whipped. He coughed several mouthfuls of blood. The five Battle Emperor adepts in the sky fell down. Their chests exploded open; bones and blood were on display. Yang Tian roared their Divine Souls to smithereens and shook his own!

“Curse you!” Two Almighty adepts resisted the dao sounds in the void with all of their might. They were furious their Battle Emperors died. They quickly went to Yang Tian. They were strong.

Yang Xiao had a cold demeanour. He pointed to the sky. A large finger appeared and trapped the Almighty adepts. The finger descended, creating a bottomless pit.

Yang Tian was enraged. He shook the earth and sky with his Vitality Wheel Eye. He grabbed the elder, swung him and slammed him into the ruins! Crash! The elder cried. Bones breaking resonated.

Yang Xiao sighed. He and the black bird had to leave, leaving Yang Tian alone.

The blow from back then was too much. Back when he was nine, he curled up in a corner and muttered, “Mother, I’m cold… I’m scared…” Yang Tian cried when he recalled the scene. The place before him was in ruins.

The sun shone over, providing a clear visual of the bones. Yang Tian’s blood thirst intensified. His breathing became erratic. He eventually grew tired. He kicked the elder’s corpse aside as if it was a rock. He used it as a ploughing tool to create a path through the ruins with the shape of a human being. He continued repeating it with the other corpses, splattering blood and bones everywhere.

A will seemingly helped Yang Clan’s grounds feel a lot less desolate. Looking at the surroundings incited bitter feelings. Yang Tian walked slowly and would earnestly wipe clean bones he found. He couldn’t find a complete skeleton after searching for half a day. He found many item fragments belonging to his uncle and other clansmen, all of which he recognised. He picked up his mother’s cracked hairpin. The vital essence in it was gone; however, he’d never forget the text carved on it.  Yang Tian kept fumbling through the ruins for more broken items because they were necessary to carve his name on the stone tablet!

Yang Tian wrapped bones and item fragments up in a white cloth to bury at their clan’s place in ancient times. Yang Xiao wasn’t even sure if their old home still existed.

Yang Tian spent an entire day and night searching. He found his father’s old spear broken in three amongst all of the rubble and remains. The old and bronze spear was once a Dao Rank Peak weapon. Though it was damaged, Yang Tian earnestly cleaned it.

Yang Tian sat there for three days and kowtowed to the ruins before departing. “Uncles, ancestors, please help me find my parents and fulfil your wishes.”

Yang Tian left without turning back, letting the ruins sink into the earth.
