Almighty – Ch. 565

Dao Scripture Hall

Despite the burnt bird’s plea, the celestial peng fired golden lightning from its eyes when it noticed the bird, thereby piercing its head. The celestial peng didn’t know how to react after. Once it realised there was an Inheritance that activated when the bird died, it tried to flee. It was too late, unfortunately, as an energy smashed right into it. Yang Tian found it laughable.

“Let’s go!” shouted the jade carriage’s spirit.

Seeing the other spirits flee, Yi Zong shouted, “Damn it, chase them,” as he took off after Yang Tian.

Nobody had ever targeted the carriage in all the time it’d had been at Dao Deity Mountain.

The item spirits vanished when the pursuers thought they caught up. A small silver boat appeared before them.

Yi Zong: “Yang Tian, die, haha!”

Yi Zong cracked the void with a palm strike. His joy only lasted for an instance. Seeing their plan go down the drain when they were so close, the Yi brothers shouted, “Yang Tian, I’ll kill you!”

Great Void Genius travelled through the void with dozens of items floating. Xiaobai cheerfully fiddled with the vermillion feather. The feather’s spirit felt reassured in his hand, earning everyone’s envy. Xiaoji sat in the air and communicated with the mysterious jade slip. Chubby examined the ordinary yin yang divine slip, behaving himself for once. The carriage’s spirit asked Yang Tian to serve the divine items instead of him. Yang Tian was bitter the carriage didn’t pick him at his cultivation level.

Yang Tian knew the carriage spirit was cunning, so he said, “I can let you stay with the divine items every day; however, you must help me when I’m in danger.”

“That’s fine. Once you’re stronger, I’ll serve you,” replied the helpless spirit. “Cultivating here is beneficial for item spirits. I never expected to leave so soon…”

So soon, thought Yang Tian. He was relieved, though. World Scroll’s quality was superior. In terms of cultivation, however, the reverse was true. He had no intention of letting the carriage go after he captured it. Anyhow, he stored it into his Ancestral Dragon Ring despite him being too weak to control if it went wild.

The five Dao Rank Peak quality items levitating in the air were more than what a Battle Emperor adept could take, let alone when combined. Yang Tian didn’t particularly like them. In saying that, they would be in the future. Yang Ba’s Devil Slaying Army would find it useful.

Over time, Chubby and Xiaoji noticed the vitality in the latter’s jade slip was more potent than at Great Desolation.

Xiaobai pointed to the energy fluctuation in front and smiled. “Look!”

Yang Tian tracked Xiaobai’s finger to the dense clouds up ahead. There was a dao recital coming from there. In other words, Dao Scripture Hall was opening to his joy. Chubby and Xiaoji began to discuss Great Desolation. The trio was eager and excited.

Great Void Desolation stopped at an empty spot. The group altered their appearances to hide their identities. Xiaobai looked fatter, resembling Chubby Junior. He sat on Yang Tian’s shoulder and kicked his legs. He pointed to the celestial wolf. “Look, it’s the damn celestial wolf. How did it survive? I’m surprised the monkey king didn’t kill them.”

Yang Tian sighed. There were less than half of the people at Divine Garden. Nobody knew Yang Tian’s trio was there. They laughed when they noticed eyes on them.

Chubby laughed when he saw the girl in blue next to Shangguan Hao. “Just where did he pick her up from…”

Shangguan Clan lost one of their five adepts. Yang Tian was sad for them because the one-off meeting with the adept left a good impression. He then teased the girl in black he was familiar with, Meng Yunxi, asking, “Why are you wearing that…?”

Meng Yunxi shuddered. She rolled her eyes and giggled. “Nice going. You already have a bounty on your head.”

Yang Tian was speechless. He walked over and used Voice Transmission to inquire, “Have you found Yun’er?”

Meng Yunxi pulled her eyebrows together and, in a hopeless tone, answered, “No. I’ve been searching, though…”

Yang Tian tossed Meng Yunxi an interspatial ring and smiled. “Careful. There’s an item inside. It’s up to you to make it recognise you.”

Meng Yunxi caught the ring and licked her lips: Where did he get this…?

Lights pierced the dark clouds. A palace was in the sky. Its aura was lonely and ancient.

Xiaobai sniffed. A girl made his eyes bulge.
