Almighty – Ch. 558

Fragment

The white mist corroded the formation rapidly. The child monkey cried out and swung its claws as if distressed. Xiaobai shot it a glare. “Keep fussing and I’ll skin you!”

The monkey curled up.

Xiaoji couldn’t sense Xiaobai’s stats because the latter was too amazing as the Heaven Devouring Beast.

Xiaobai sneaked into the formation and held the seven stars envelope the moon flower. He then plucked four before Chubby knew it. The monkey was angry, but he didn’t make an utterance. Xiaobai shot Chubby a glare, knowing Chubby would’ve taken them if he wasn’t fast. Truly a glutton unlike a Heaven Devouring Beast.

Yang Tian laughed. “Good job.”

Xiaobai chuckled in a bizarre tone and scrubbed the monkey’s head out of satisfaction.

Chubby felt wronged. Chubby grabbed the child monkey’s throne. “Hehe, not bad. Now it’s my throne.”

Yang Tian saw a two-and-a-half-centimetre red gourd. One glance and it was obvious it was extraordinary. Xiaobai grabbed the gourd several times bigger than him excitedly. Chubby learnt from his last lesson; he stood guard in front of it. Yang Tian turned his attention to the golden peach shell storing vitality. Yang Tian picked up the peach shell and muttered, “This must be a Saturn peach shell. I wonder if I could grow one…”

Xiaobai wiped his drool and opened the gourd. The wine scent escaped. Yang Tian hastily shut the lid in case those outside noticed it. Chubby covered his mouth to laugh. “There’s monkey wine inside.”

Xiaoji: “The monkey king sure has good taste… There’s enough for us to share.”

Yang Tian smiled. “Lucky we came here…”

The young monkey was furious. He swung his claws to express, “Put it back.”

Xiaobai knocked on the monkey’s head. “Shut up.”

The first place to explore was the treasure store. An ancient creature’s divine storage meant incredible items. Another stone door, another ancient aura, more rare and splendid items. Lots of items were made from bone.

Chubby picked up a bone made from a Divine Beast’s rib bones. “This is bone that can be used as a weapon!”

There was a fragmented stone statue of a monkey up ahead. Yang Tian’s eye twitched. There were cracks inside. It was on the verge of crumbling. There was no energy. The young monkey was too scared to look at its ancestor’s statue. Yang Tian saw three jade containers with purple light flashing under it.

Yang Tian went over, rubbing his hands at the same time. He opened the first one to find a scroll made from some beast’s skin. The primordial era text on it was the formula for concocting monkey wine. That bored him. Xiaoji and Chubby were so enamoured with it they ran their hands over it and recorded it.

Xiaoji explained, “It’s no longer passed down. It’s an ancient formula. You need lots of miraculous and old herbs. It takes an incredibly long time to concoct. Monkey wine is very rare.”

“I see…” responded Yang Tian.

Yang Tian opened the second contained with a grin. A primordial era aura popped out this time, attracting everyone’s attention. It was a fragmented diagram. It was very fragmented. Chubby frowned. “What’s that? It looks familiar…”

Yang Tian’s hand trembled. He stored it into Ancestral Dragon Ring. It was part of the other fragment he found! Yang Xiao told him to seize the fragments whenever he found one. Yang Tian took in a deep breath and calmly said, “I’ll take it, since it’s useful to me.”

Chubby scratched his head. “Mm, I feel I’ve seen the scenery on there somewhere.”

Yang Tian’s eye twitched. “Where?”

“Great Desolation, I believe,” replied Chubby. “Mm, I can’t explain it better, since the terrain is rare.”

“Great Desolation…” Yang Tian was relieved.

There was still some time before Great Desolation opened, so Yang Tian wasn’t pressed for time.

Yang Tian smiled and suppressed his emotions when he looked to the last container and opened it. A golden light shone from inside. A divine power swept through the area. The area quaked. A violent aura emerged. People outside were alerted.
