“Get lost!”
The immortal’s cave Yang Tian had his eyes on quaked. Energy surged from within. Golden lights shone.
The golden monkey over three metres froze. Shock flitted across its face. Its eyes were golden. Its golden staff glowed. The sky shook. The monkey swept two creatures away. The two creatures fearlessly joined hands. They manifested items to knock the staff away.
The monkey brayed at an ear-splitting volume. It swung its staff down. The sky and earth shook. The earth cracked. The golden creatures were shocked. Nobody could match the monkey alone.
The creatures stopped the monkeys. The celestial wolf wanted the peach.
Yang Tian and company looked to the monkey wine and gulped. Yang Tian scratched his head with a frown. “What do we do? I doubt the monkey will leave. It’ll see us if we try to take it. I don’t think we’ll be able to escape.”
Chubby looked stern and righteous. “I think we should check out its cave first. I’m sure there are plenty of treasures.”
Yang Tian smacked himself in the head. “How did I not think of that?!”
Xiaoji blinked: “Hehe, I bet the monkey king drank a fair amount. There should be a lot inside.”
Xiaobai, with his eyes narrowed, patted Chubby on the shoulder. “Genius… Genius…”
Xiaoji moved Great Void to the cave slowly. The interior was dark. They were cautious. Chubby sat inside Great Void Genius. He opened his third eye. Xiaobai derided Chubby with a chuckle when the latter shook his head. Chubby glanced at glanced at Xiaobai and entered after all the preparation.
Yang Tian sighed and shrugged. He patted Chubby on the shoulder and suppressed his aura. Xiaoji grinned and, before entering, said, “Chubby, bear it in mind for next time…”
Chubby: “Wait up!”
Xiaobai poked his head around corners as he walked until they ran into a boulder blocking the door. He narrowed his eyes and sniffed. Yang Tian, knowing there was something inside, smiled and moved the boulder. The ruckus they made was as quiet as ants crawling.
Xiaobai reverted to his real form, catching Chubby and Xiaoji’s attention, then flew through the gap. A little crimson monkey wobbled over before he could get a good view. Xiaobai reacted as if he saw a treasure. The bouncing monkey scratching his face feared Xiaobai.
Yang Tian took a peek inside. The monkey was slightly different to the monkey king. Yang Tian waved. “Don’t go in yet.”
Xiaobai was relieved the monkey was afraid of hm. “Come here!” he hollered. Like a king, he spread his wings, startling the monkey into prostrating himself and quivering. Xiaobai, therefore, tried being aggressive. “Come here, or I’ll hit you!”
The monkey submissively cried in response from the ground. Xiaobai picked up the monkey from its sleeve and scanned the interior over three kilometres. Unlike the previous area, this one was bright. There was a grotto-heaven, stone doors to Manual Storage Hall, Pill Room and Treasure Store. Yang Tian wasn’t surprised there was a grotto-heaven; he expected one to be there.
Chubby assumed the treasure store contained the monkey king’s race’s treasures. He froze when he saw an herb field. There were only five herbs. In the centre was a silver one with sparkling starlight. Said herb was a rank seven herb called seven stars enclose moon flower. It was almost ripe. When it manifested Moon Quirk, it was complete. It needed star energy to grow, though. It took two thousand years for a leaf to grow. It was old.
If Yang Tian’s Star Scroll refined seven stars enclose moon flower, the seven stars could potentially surpass Yu Yao’s Star Scroll.
Yang Tian tapped Xiaobai with his foot, signalling for the latter to begin. Chubby was faced with the challenge of dismantling the formation without alerting the monkey king; hence, he scratched his head. Xiaobai picked up the monkey and wiped his drool. He walked to the formation and spat, startling Chubby. Xiaobai’s white miss materialised cracks inside without making a peep.
