Completing the Incomplete Star
Moonlight and Starlight was a single energy – despite the conjunction in the naming – from outside the domain. The humans by the shore waited for the creatures to weaken the energy in the lake so that they could take a spot. Yang Tian and Yun’er were the only ones to walk straight in without hesitation. The creatures on shore warned the duo not to enter for their own sakes, but Yang Tian shook his head. He summoned Great Sun to the sky along with the three-legged crow. The crow stomped a creature to mush.
There were vortexes further down toward the deeper end, indicating higher intensity. When the duo prepared to descend at the centre, the vortexes rotated faster. Yang Tian blasted lightning bolts that turned into lightning fields to nullify the attempt on his life.
The attacker beneath them pulled his hand back, then launched five weapons at Yang Tian. Yang Tian methodically crushed the first one that approached with his bare hands. His attacker had his weapons retreat. Yang Tian reached for the small golden sword he spotted, only to hear, “Brother Chubby, I’m being bullied!”
Chubby, armed with a bone, leapt out of the water with an aggressive look. “Who’s the jerk?!”
Yang Tian laughed. “Why are you here, Chubby?”
“Eh? You recognise me?” Chubby frowned. “Chubby? I’ll hack you for calling me fat!”
Unwilling to entertain Chubby, Yang Tian took Yun’er by the hand and dove down. His stars in his qihai autonomously absorbed the star energy around. He was sure he could complete his seven stars’ quirk at the current absorption rate. He was understandably happy. He soon noticed the corporeal sun and moon in the distance; the two belonged to Shangguan Hao, and they had grown at an exceptional rate.
Yang Tian pulled his eyebrows together. “Chubby, did you run into a powerful foe whilst undertaking a tribulation?”
Chubby: “Don’t remind me. As soon as I was done, two old farts suddenly chased us down as if they had lost their minds.”
Dahu: “There was also a half-blooded divine body. They were a bizarre group.”
A half-blooded divine body was a fake divine body. Yang Tian described a particular individual he had in mind. After hearing the description, Chubby slapped his thigh. “How did you know it was him?”
Yang Tian smiled awkwardly. “They’re… Ancient Sacred Grounds’ people.”
Unaware Ancient Sacred Grounds’ considered him Yang Tian’s friend, since they saw him fight against Li Clan during the big clash, Chubby exclaimed, “I’m going to kill them!”
Ancient Sacred Grounds apparently didn’t leak news of the vitality divine tree.
Yang Tian entered his body. The raging energy outside didn’t impact his body. He kept his pores closed because there were too many people to use Dao Scripture. He breathed in Moonlight and Starlight energy. His stars spun as they absorbed the energy faster than his five Dao Bodies could.
Chubby sat down to begin absorbing before overpowered Yang Tian absorbed all the energy.
