Moonlight and Starshine
Yang Tian almost killed the bird. As such, the celestial peng turned back and fired golden lightning at him. At the same time, World Scroll imprisoned the bird within it. Yang Tian taunted, “What are you doing? Break out, damn bird!”
Though the celestial peng was incensed, it still had enough rationality intact to turn back around.
The bird inside World Scroll trembled in fear and conjured possible consequences for harassing Yun’er. Xiaoqing stomped on the bird. Voice childish, he questioned, “How about boiling him?”
The bird grasped at straws. “If you try to kill me, you’ll activate the Inheritance I just received.”
Yang Tian smiled scornfully. “Boiling you would be too merciful.”
Bird: “What do you mean?”
Yang Tian brought out a furnace containing golden flames.
The bird shuddered. “You’re going to lock me in there?”
Yang Tian: “Correct.”
Yang Tian expanded the furnace and chucked the bird in. The bird cried out when it saw a burnt corpse. “Release me! I’m a divine slave of Divine Mountain! They’ll get you for this!”
Yang Tian smiled as he shut the lid. “Enjoy it!”
As soon as Yang Tian moved the furnace back to Ancestral Dragon Ring, he began to feel perturbed again as Chubby and company hadn’t arrived at the agreed rendezvous point. He needed Chubby’s divination skills to locate the celestial peng. It was vital they eliminated the celestial peng before undertaking any tribulations. Fortunately, they had three days before the celestial peng would finish refining the divine blood. He then started wondering how Yuan Xia was doing.
Yang Tian and Yun’er travelled at the bottom of Divine Mountain’s void, while several people shadowed them. They needed to leave the area whilst undertaking Battle Emperor lightning tribulations.
They landed two hours later. The floor before them was cracked. Shangguan Hao’s aura still lingered. In other words, they left not long ago after a violent fight.
Yun’er pointed to a fragment on the ground. “Brother Yang Tian, that’s a formation contraption.”
“You sure?”
“Yes.” Yun’er found the patterns on it resembled Chubby’s.
Relieved, Yang Tian asked, “Can you locate them?”
Yun’er shook her head. Yang, Tian, therefore, touched his nose to think until he realised they obviously fled if they used a formation contraption. He summoned a star stream after smacking his stupidity out of his head.
Something attracted Star Illuminates the Blue Sky during Yang Tian’s duel with the celestial peng. As soon as he summoned it, it pointed toward whatever it was that attracted it. Grinning, he headed where it pointed. It was only about two to three hundred kilometres from where he was, so it would’ve only taken an hour to get there.
The outer perimeter was scarcely populated. In fact, only the weak cultivators cultivating in caves were there since the interior was a massacre ground. Yang Tian’s quirk expressed more and more excitement as they closed in to their destination.
Yang Xiao needed Star Spirit to refine pills, but Yang Tian already fed the last one to his divine tree. Consequently, Star Illuminates the Blue Sky plateaued ever since.
Moonlight and Starlight shone and boomed in the void up ahead. They came to a silver energy lake. The energy came from the moon and stars. Creatures were already in the lake, absorbing the energy for their body tempering. That said, there wasn’t enough energy to last them for days.
