Divine Mountain
“Damn it, they lured us!” exclaimed Chubby, swiftly activating the formation platforms to save their hides.
“Go!” shouted Shangguan Hao, racing to the formation platform he enhanced with drugs to permit travelling roughly fifteen kilometres.
“The herbs… The herbs…” cried Dahu, forced to abandon about half of their herbs that didn’t even total three hundred.
“Go!” shouted Yang Tian, kicking Dahu in after snagging the last herb in the centre.
“Get back here!” An elder launched a hand at Yang Tian as part of the plan to obtain the herbs.
“Get lost!” Yang Tian swung Black Devil enhanced with energy in the surroundings as he stepped inside.
“Eh?” Having had his attack erased, the elder grabbed the remaining herbs. “Formation platform? What brutality.”
Chubby: “Sly buggers just waltzed off with a hundred herbs!”
Dahu: “They better pray I don’t catch them…”
A random creature: “Incredible. Speaking in a void. Retreat…”
Another creature that finally believed what his friend said and ran: “What monsters.”
Lightning descended. Yang Tian’s group explosively lunged away. Shangguan Hao received some gorilla meat for his tribulation.
Yang Tian pulled out a glowing jade slip to navigate into a distant zone. He waited for a while, then tensely prayed everything was fine. Chubby told them to entrust their backs to him and went to set up formations to keep creatures away during the tribulation.
“All right. Be careful. Dahu, stay with them.” Yang Tian took off on Xiaoqing’s back at an amazing speed that scared off creatures below.
Ancient clans knew an Inheritance could be found in the dao palaces and divine mountains that were all apparently lush. Dao palaces stored human Inheritances. Divine mountains stored primordial era unique Inheritances.
Yang Tian arrived at a towering divine mountain with divine markings. A battle had taken place for three days there. The blood on the staircase was still liquid. There was a natural stone palace housing countless corpses inside. There was something similar to an altar at the forefront. The palace was amidst collapse.
A celestial peng blasted a seal at the formation a young girl talented with formations activated. Behind him was a massive blood enveloped in red mist; it possessed divine blood and just obtain an Inheritance.
The bird respectfully asked, “Master, since you have obtained the Inheritance, why are you going to the trouble of destroying the formation? You could invest the same time opening another divine mountain.”
The bird’s master answered, “The girl and the hibernation peng are related. We can find the cornhole once we’ve located him.”
Bird: “What? Is the cornhole not dead already?”
Celestial Peng: “Mm, I’m not sure, either. The hibernation peng is a traitor and tried to steal the ancient celestial peng’s divine blood!”
“Indeed, Master. The traitor who turned to Demon Kingdom will be a threat sooner or later!”
Yun’er, who was inside the formation, was weakened and barely kept her divine body hidden. As part of her frantic response, her jade rune radiated and shone from her forehead. That said, she just ascended to Battle Emperor Realm. She controlled the palace’s formations. Manual control was superior to automatic control, but the five-layer formation was in danger. She impressed with her tremendous energy store that maintained the formation for six hours.
The mountain’s tranquillity was merely a facade.
The bird swung at the formation. “I want her for my reward.”
Celestial Peng: “Hahaha, fine.”
The bird was bound to climb ranks, be rewarded handsomely and grow substantially stronger as long as it served the celestial peng – which it was happy to do.
