Almighty – Ch. 487

Gu Lingyun!

Those who approached the artefacts ended up falling victim to its discharged energy. It was comparable to a tornado sweeping through. The black bird recognised the feather at a glance and explained, “That’s the vermillion Divine Beast’s feather. It’s the leader.”

The black bird desperately clung to Yang Tian’s clothes as he showed a clean pair of heels for it was too old to move.

The artefact was an ancient’s hero’s steed. The bird explained it was one of Divine Dynasty’s prince’s. It was left behind when one of their people entered Dao Deity Mountain. Every time the mountain opened, the artefact army would go wild as a tide.

The tide killed those who were too slow.

Yang Tian: “Has nobody tried to take it? Any cultivator would be interested in the artefacts!”

“Mm, people in the past did, but they failed.” The bird scratched his bald head. “A group once used a Celestial Weapon to collect a large number of artefacts from it, but it was only a drop in the bucket.”

Once he was far from the tide, Yang Tian took in a deep breath and espied other artefact armies in other regions.

The bird handed Yang Tian a jade slip out of gratitude for saving him/ “This is a map of the region I’m familiar with. I painted all of terrain variations there.”

Yang Tian hesitated for a brief moment and then handed the bird a jade vial. “For you. Goodbye.”

Yang Tian took off, leaving the speechless bird behind. The bird shook his head, wondering if he couldn’t read Yang Tian’s level because he was too old. Then, he opened the jade vial slowly. Vitality burst forth from the vial/ “Core milk! Excellent vitality!”

The bird consumed the core milk straight away and levelled up on the spot.

Yang Tian skimmed his eyes over the bird’s map. The region recorded was the same as the map he possessed. He was impressed with the bird; he scratched his head. He did interrogate a creature for information previous. Unfortunately, the creature was abreast of a very limited area. The bird’s map, on the other hand, covered dozens of regions.

Yang Tian sped off to a zone without any creatures – they fled to other regions. He passed by many destroyed mountains on the way. He gradually slowed down over the course of two hours. A gust of wind blew toward him the moment he arrived at the peak of a lush mountain. The energy was familiar. Alas, he couldn’t identify exactly where he encountered it before.

Suddenly, Yang Tian turned and blasted a golden energy at the gale when his senses tingled. A finger enveloped in pure light descended similarly to a pillar before he could think any further. Upon identifying his assailant thanks to the usage of the finger technique he was familiar with, he grew confrontational.

Yang Tian propelled himself vertically toward the finger and battered the martial technique in the void. Although surprised, Gu Lingyun, dressed in black, emerged from the void with a frigid expression.  She looked smug as she approached him. Her transformation startled him – not that it reduced his desire to butcher her.

Yang Tian prepared to kill Gu Lingyun; however, he noticed a one-armed elder in white off in the distance. He, therefore, went from apprehensive to thrilled in the blink of an eye. Upon spotting Gu Ji behind the elder, he pondered, when did the two get together?

Yang Tian vanished from the void. Gu Lingyun was surprised she abruptly lost track of him. He actually concealed himself in a void near her and hid in a red mist. He didn’t want to let the three go. However, Xiaoqing and he would struggle to defeat the Almighty adept even though their opponent had a damaged Source. Additionally, they’d involve more people into the fray.

With a disgusted undertone, she courteously greeted the one-armed elder/ “Elder.”

Gu Ji, who was behind the elder, gulped as he ogled Gu Lingyun. Acting high and mighty, the elder stated, “Mm, First Elder and the rest have yet to arrive. Let’s go in and wait for them.”

Gu Lingyun shuddered. With no retort to offer, she did as the elder suggested. Gaze on Gu Lingyun, Gu Ji clenched his teeth, thinking, “Bloody harlot ‘serving’ a damn old fart.”

Yang Tian watched Gu Lingyun and the elder enter with a look of contempt. He didn’t know how the elder managed to make her submit to him.
