Almighty – Ch. 468

Mount Yi!

The creature glowed white. He also noticed the golden breakers in the distance. He commented, “I believe someone from your race is behind it. Does your celestial peng race occupy another place aside from Mount Yi?”

Youth: “Correct. Other divine mountains. Hmph… You remember the artefact from Mount Yi back then?”

“Hibernating Peng?!”

“Correct. He tried to take the artefact for himself back then. Unfortunately for him, we caught him and exiled him from Mount Yi,” replied the youth, voice hostile.

Imposing individual: “I remember his heir was suffered a grievous wound. I don’t think it’s his descendant. I would say it’s another one from another divine mountain,”

Youth: “Impossible. There are no celestial peng groups on other divine mountains besides Mount Yi.”

Imposing individual: “We’ll find out when we get there.”

The duo left.

The commotion in the valley lasted for half a day. Golden lightning was spotted at the centre. The celestial pengs’ quirks were likely Lightning Illuminates the World, which was an innate ability.

Yun’er squinted. “A powerful foe approaches!”

Yang Tian used his divine soul energy to scout for the enemy but didn’t find anyone. Yun’er’s divine soul energy couldn’t have been superior to his. Sensing the formation crumbling, Yun’er elaborated, “Chubby set up a big formation around here before; I can sense the intruder’s power level from the formation’s feedback.”

“Xiaoqing is evolving, so we can’t allow anything to distract him. Activate the formations.”

Yang Tian leapt into the void. Da Hu switched to an aggressive mode and rushed outside with Yun’er, eager for a chance to add a merit next to his name.

Yang Tian brought out a white spiritual flower, one of the only two remaining, not that he had an alternative option. He powered the pill flame to its maximum level using his lightning flames, melting the petals. His five Dao Physiques got to work, refining the flower as fast as possible. His refinement process increased considerably after absorbing the three-legged crow’s flames.

Two creatures emerged from the void kilometres away and looked around. They both smiled satirically. Dahu’s aggression instinctively turned to fear when he sensed the white creature, which he recognised as the king of the tiger species, a white tiger king,

Frustrated, Yun’er smacked Dahu over the head. “Dahu, get your act together.”

“Yeah, but it’s a white tiger king… Let’s run. Yang Tian can’t even match them.”

Yun’er kicked Dahu. “You’re useless. Run by yourself if you want to!”

The enemy fired a golden ray into the formation, rattling it and sending tremors through the formation. Text manifested in the void to intercept the attack. Yun’er already broke out in cold sweat, though she was glad Chubby added a layer of magical text. It cost Chubby half of the materials he took from Li Clan to build the fortified formation originally set up to protect himself. Therefore, there was enough time for them to flee.

The white tiger didn’t expect he’d have to deal with ancient text in the outside world. Having failed, he went on a rampage. He unleashed an ear-splitting boom, blasting two golden lightning bolts at the formation. The magical text retaliated with its own light, ending the lightning bolts’ attack.

The white tiger was surprised. The attacker clenched his fists. He roared and punched a lightning blast at the text. His might indicated he was a Demon Emperor Realm Peak, which was approximately the might of an Almighty adept.

Dahu needed to overcome his fear if he wanted to get anywhere in life. Yun’er grabbed him and flashed to the valley entrance. She activated the triple-layer formation.

The potent vital essence from the spiritual flower in the void attracted Dahu’s attention. Yun’er kicked him again.

Dahu cried, “You can’t blame me.”

Xiaoqing levelled up quickly. Yang Tian opened his eyes. Noticing the commotion outside, he yelled, “Hurry, Xiaoqing!”

The attacker looked up and riveted. He snorted and powered up as he knew he couldn’t allow the hibernating peng’s descendant evolve.

Back then, a treasure spawned. The celestial peng race then occupied Mount Yi. Other races tacitly agreed to it. The treasure seemed to be linked to the celestial peng race. Thus, the white tiger pondered what treasure they kicked the hibernating peng out of the celestial peng race for. He never joined the attack because the hibernating peng was no pushover. The celestial pengs would’ve killed it long ago if they could.

In ten breaths, the attacker destroyed the first layer of the formation. He charged in violently.

Xiaoqing’s level up put a smile on Yang Tian’s face. The moment he sighed, he saw countless small celestial pengs emerge in the void.
