Almighty – Ch. 440

Deep Sleep

The golden energy nseeped into Yang Tian’s viscera autonomously. Gazing at his golden lake, Yuan Xia wondered how come his body’s energy was identical to his energy in his qihai. Ancient cultivators cultivated their bodies, so their body’s energy was in their flesh and blood. The golden energy in his river was the exact as that in his blood and flesh. It was her first time encountering the scenario. Yang Tian was able to produce new energy from his dry qihai.

Yang Tian’s healing process shook the cave. He absorbed the dragon transformation pill’s vital essence.

Yuan Xia returned and informed everyone Yang Tian was unlikely to wake up any time soon at his healing rate. He had to raise another two new deities in his viscera since the previous two exploded. The crux of the problem was it would be harder and consume energy faster.

Yun’er was hesitant to ask questions, but in the end, she questioned, “How long will he need.”

“Several months or more. He forcibly utilised a secret technique, resulting in severe injuries. He has his robust body to thank. I think there was also an artefact protecting him,” replied Yuan Xia, crediting a potentially existential artefact, since she couldn’t see his qihai’s interior.

Yang Tian’s injury was actually another miraculous opportunity in disguise.

More importantly, Yang Ba’s situation was unconfirmed. It would be quite the blow to Yang Tian if he woke up and found out he lost his brother. Yuan Xia surmised Yang Xiao would make it out alive as she discovered Mountains and Rivers Cauldron’s spirit was still alive.

Chubby and Xiaoji left the cave to set up a large formation to ensure the devil race couldn’t pinpoint their location down the road. Chubby brought out materials he looted from Li Clan’s storage, but the two didn’t loot only materials.

Yun’er asked for some of the duo’s materials to set up a formation in Yang Tian’s cave. The purpose behind her formation was to gather heaven and earth vital essence. When Chubby saw her skills, he evaluated her skills to be slightly superior to his own. He checked her out with a grin. He figured out she inherited an Inheritance. Given everything Yun’er possessed, Chubby considered Yang Tian lucky.

Noticing the thirty-three or so metre jade platform Chubby had and the rune he crushed, Yun’er queried, “Is that a formation platform?”

“It is. As long as I have it, I can use a formation disc to teleport things over within a five hundred metre radius,” answered Chubby.

Yun’er: I have to go back to accept the Inheritance to learn to use runes, sadly. I’ll wait for Brother Yang to heal before I leave.

Five days later, they planted countless spiritual herbs taken from Li Clan. Their rank wasn’t praiseworthy, but they made up for quality with quantity. Xing Shan left with two others, leaving Yun’er behind in the safe formation with Yuan Xia to avoid attracting attention. Xing Shan had to hurry back to Thundercloud Sect in case the youth wreaked havoc on their sect after their conflict.

Chubby and Xiaoji left two days after to continue their cultivation journey, because they deemed themselves too weak.

Yun’er sat in the centre of the spiritual herbs area and meticulously inspected the fragmented pure-white jade in her hand. The formation within was fragmented, and the ancient cultivators’ comprehension of the formation weighed on her mind. Yuan Xia brightly came up to her from behind. “Yun’er, are you researching the fragmented formation diagram again?”

“Yes, Sister Yuan…” answered Yun’er, giggling as she looked over her shoulder.

The two girls grew closer somewhat over time, and Yuan Xia was able to help Yun’er a fair bit with her background.

Yuan Xia explained, “The jade is actually the frontal bone of an old Divine Beast that was broken into what you’re holding. A formation is carved within. Don’t spend too long observing every day because it will tire you out mentally.”

“Understood.”
