Almighty – Ch. 370

Entering Mountains and Rivers Cauldron!

The diabolic aura exuding from the ocean of blood and bones surfacing gave the vibe it was a devil’s ocean.

The black tiger almost twenty metres tall was the strongest. Its big breaths produced a whirlpool inside the ocean of blood. The devil dragon swung its tail in similar fashion to a whip.

The tiger told it to get lost in humanity’s language and blasted a hot beam at the incoming tail. The devil dragon surfaced from the ocean, then made another attempt to swing at the tiger’s head. The dozens of creatures behind the tiger howled in unison. The battlefield was a mix of lights and booms.

The mightiest race in the deepest section of the forest decided to head in and see what was going on.

The devil dragon spectating thundered at the enemies and blasted a crushing wave down at the creatures below, severing the limbs of one of the thieving creatures before it could react and sweeping it into the ocean. The combined might of the two devil dragons quickly dyed the area with blood. Three devil dragons spilt even more blood.

“Lucky there’s that crocodile, or the three devil dragons would’ve cleared the field by now,” commented Yang Tian.

Covering Yang Tian with his Green Celestial Flame, Yang Xiao instructed, “Sneak in now. I hope they last long enough.”

Yang Tian checked his surroundings before sneaking over to the ocean of blood. Thankfully, the battlefield covered the sound of the splash he made. He found vengeful skeletons inside. Blood and essence was most potent at the bottom of the ocean at the centre.  In addition, there were sinister rays of black light roughly three metres long.  They were tentacles enjoying a feast. The aura from the black lights resembled devil dragons.

“What the heck is that?”

“I believe it’s the devil dragons’ heir. There sure are a lot of them.” Yang Xiao incorrectly presumed the devil dragon race’s population was big. In reality, there were only three.

The devil dragons required tremendous volumes of blood and essence to raise their heirs using the method they employed. If their heirs were to enter the outside world, they’d wreak unimaginable havoc.

Yang Tian swam past a cluster of black lights. Surfacing to scrutinise the web of lights, he expressed, “I can’t believe three Divine items can’t seal this ocean of blood.”

Despite the destructive energy within each light ray, the ocean erased said rays. A tornado began to form at the rear. Lights were close to shrouding the sky. The majority of the dozens of creatures were dead. The rest were eager to turn tail; however, the three devil dragons surrounded them. Still, creatures rushed over to the ocean.

A bunch of pentachrome sand appeared during the tussle and followed the direction of the tide into the interior. The energy blasts on the battlefield camouflaged the sand slipping past.

Yang Tian sneaked into the deepest section. Once the bright light pillar came into sight, he and swam as fast as he could toward Mountains and Rivers Cauldron. Notwithstanding its violent aura, it was particularly weak. He pursed his lips and giddily queried, “Uncle Xiao, what do we do?”

Yang Xiao emerged, repelling the blood ocean away from him as the central point. He took a seat and then discharged his divine soul energy into the cauldron.

Yang Clan engraved the cauldron’s spirit with their clan’s symbol, making it impossible for anyone outside of the clan to wield.

Yang Tian carefully surveyed the surroundings since Yang Xiao was silent. He couldn’t understand how come there were only three devil dragons. He wondered if they were so sinister they planned to have their heirs break the formation.

Yang Tian looked to the base where divine markings were active. The two seemed as though they were trying to erase each other.  The divine markings were presumably derived from the three Divine Items. If he took the Divine Items, the devil dragons would escape.

Ten minutes later, something restrained Yang Tian with a vice-like grip. The scene before his eyes changed before he could react.
