Supreme Cultivator
The imperial bloodline within the titan refused to bow. He tried to suppress his fear, and the best way to do so was to take action. His descending mountain was intimidating, but fear mangled him again. His mountain paused when a mighty force froze it. In fact, the force was powerful enough to crush it.
Unwilling to be resigned to defeat, the titan threw a punch enhanced with his golden qi and blood. Still, the white light melted the punch as though it was nothing. The light from the talisman signalled someone was going to emerge from within. The titan went berserk, unleashing punch after punch futilely.
Yuan Xia once learnt a little about the secrets of the ancient era from ancient texts in her clan. Alas, that was barely scratching the surface. The era’s secrecy suggested it was a taboo topic. Alchemy Alliance’s elders were just as lost.
Despite the titan’s fierce roars, there was a sense of powerlessness in his tone. Witnessing the titan’s powerlessness, Longyang and his Bloodline trembled. Though he didn’t possess the imperial family’s bloodline, his Bloodline was scared out of its wits. Their master never predicted the talisman’s appearance. The two lords stopped themselves after attempting to run for they feared the talisman would target them if they ran.
Thanks to the white glow, the entire domain changed colours, and stability was restored.
Yang Xiao suddenly had a suspicion when he picked up on a familiar aura. Voice shaky and searching his surroundings, he exclaimed, “It’s former patriarch’s remaining will! Does this mean he’s still alive?”
Elder Gu, who was at his ethereal palace far away, opened his eyes vigorously. Sensing the intense aura, he peered toward Pill Flame Domain. What or who is that?! Elder Gu silently contemplated, then extended an antique bronze hand. He tore open the void with his hand and entered it straight away, letting the rift close behind him.
Back on the fiery battlefield, literally, the levitating white talisman’s divinity continued to amplify. The footsteps audible from within the talisman were imposing enough to perturb one and force all life to submit. An individual donning a white robe with the aura of an empyrean stepped out. He had Chaos Light and Ancient Star Domain for quirks. Part of his face was covered in the moon and stars’ light.
Yang Xiao immediately recognised him as Yang Clan’s erstwhile patriarch, a supreme cultivator in the past and even now.
The devils in the lair fell silent.
Yuan Xia’s Bloodline called out jubilantly. Her pentachromic phoenix wanted to fly out of her body to fly to the man in white. Sensing the resonance, he gazed down to Yuan Xia with an emotional look. Though Yuan Xia’s Bloodline was exhilarated, there was a hint of melancholy. She shed tears on behalf of her ancestor who had an unfulfilled wish.
The individual in white then looked over to Yang Tian feeling consoled. Ancestral Dragon Ring and the nightmare dragons called out to the individual in a friendly way. The individual then swept his gaze over to the three-headed, six-armed titan and turned hostile. The breeze in the domain turned ice cold.
“You’re supposed to be dead… You’re just a fragmented soul. You think you can stop me?!” The titan’s shouting raised the morale of the devils in devils’ lair, galvanising them to resume their riot.
The individual in white absorbed the light from the stars around him. He gently raised a hand, summoning a brilliant hand. He took his time intimidating the devils before bringing it down on the lair.
“No… No…” cried the titan, as the hand slowly shoved him back into the lair.
The individual in white’s might was described as so: when the hand rises, the sky crumbles. When the hand descends, life is obliterated.
That day, a fragmented lingering soul belonging to humanity’s ultimate human saved the world from a calamity and easily defeated the devil who endangered Eastern Continent.
