Almighty – Ch. 298

Ancestral Symbol

Based off the Deification’s might, the devils were a race that seemed capable of rivalling some Divine Beasts.

“Yes, I’m not strong enough,” responded Fire Ancestor. “But, unfortunately, the situation right now would be reversed if you came out sooner.”

The titan fell silent for a second after hearing that. Afterwards, his entire body glowed. The three-headed, six-armed monster was an infant compared the new titan. The titan imposingly roared, “You won’t reverse anything!”

Fire Ancestor: “Hahaha, the ancestral formation here says otherwise!”

The ancestral formation inside the domain was originally used to eradicate such monsters and the strongest formations in the domain.

“Ancestral formation?! Hahaha… It hasn’t been activated in ages. You think they’re even alive to activate?”

The adepts glanced over to their allies, hoping somebody could tell them what the two were on about. Nevertheless, they were confident Fire Ancestor had it in the bag.

The titan kept struggling to try and escape the seal below whilst looking down on Fire Ancestor.

Yang Xiao: “Tian, give me a drop of your Bloodline.”

Yang Tian didn’t know what Yang Xiao had in mind, but he didn’t inquire. He bore the physical pain to get a drop of his purple blood from his small purple dragon flying around. In his moment of hesitation, the jade vial he stored it in vanished from his hand.

Fire Ancestor: ”Lord God of Battle could seal the your wretched race. His descendants would never be defeated!”

“Bloodline… God of Battle… descendant… ancestral formation!” Yang Tian mumbled to himself, surmising Yang Xiao wanted his bloodline to use as a key for the ancestral formation. He kept thinking about the word “God”, a term assigned to supreme cultivators.

Lord God of Battle… The Yang’s descendants... Recalling Yang Clan, one of the nine primordial clans exterminated during the ancient era, remembering Yang Tian’s Bloodline and their Bloodline’s resonation, Yuan Xia blushed. Could Yang Tian… Could the rumour be true?

“No, he’s supposed to be dead!” disputed the titan.

“Hard to say,” mocked Fire Ancestor, smirking. “You’ll find out whether he is or not soon. Just don’t run for the hills.”

“Enough with the nonsense!”

The titan’s might was so great that, when he moved, listeners had to cover their ears and control their qi and blood or risk bursting. The titan summoned a gigantic mountain that cast its shadow over everyone present. Seeing it descend, they realised there was no escaping it.

“Hahaha, you think you can just run amok after being sealed for tens of thousands of decades?”

The titan demanded, “Who goes there? Show yourself!”

“The ancestral formation that sealed you away back then wants to pay you a visit today, hahaha.”

Outraged with the mockery, the titan lost his cool.

A glowing pure-white talisman appeared in the area. The profound divine markings flashed. The mysterious energy awoke. The titan was relieved to see just the talisman. The last thing he wanted was to be sealed again after suffering the torment of loneliness all those years.

“Hahaha, what’s the point of having just the talisman? Without your key, it’s just scrap!”

Yang Xiao threw the jade vial in his hand. The drop of purple blood flew toward the talisman. The dignified, regal and overpowering bloodline appeared, confirming Yuan Xia’s speculation that Yang Tian was Yang Clan’s descendant. Her Bloodline also resonated, wanting to fuse with the purple drop of blood, reinforcing the belief.

Though there was a similarity in terms of aura, the energy level was completely different. If the clan in question’s last name was Yang, then Yang Tian was very likely related.

Dan Qu asked, “Dad, what was the clan’s name?”

Since that part of history had been erased and he didn’t have the right to know, Dan Wenshan answered, “I genuinely don’t know. I think it has to do with Central State’s eight big clans.”

Recalling the monster of a human being who sealed him without even trying, the titan shuddered.

Once the blood entered the talisman, the talisman illuminated the area. The talisman wasn’t aiming at the adepts, but the pressure it emitted was indiscriminate and intimidating. The markings came to life, expelling the mysterious energy.

“No way!” The titan juddered before powering up.
