Pill Valley’s elders: “Grand Elder… It’s Grand Elder!!”
Grand Elder was Pill Valley’s eldest elder. Some claimed he was no longer a part of the world, but there he was. Despite his old age, his overpowering aura was unquestionably noticeable. When Grand Elder noticed the three hostiles, he beamed a hole in the void in front.
Yang Tian finally understood how they discovered him last time; they had two Autarch Realm adepts, completely leaving primordial era clans in the dust.
Yang Xiao: He’s formidable, but alas, he doesn’t have much longer. He’s already consumed a life extension pill.
Yang Tian furtively stole a glimpse of the elder, who glanced back for a second. Yang Tian’s heart skipped a beat, pondering if the elder recognised him.
The three inside the barrier were clueless. Their mists budged as though they couldn’t believe the elder was alive. Human Lord was aware their barrier wouldn’t stall two Autarch Realm adepts for long. Earth Lord glanced at his allies and urged, “Brother Longyang, we need to hurry and dismantle the seal. If they get in beforehand, we’ll have our hands full!”
Longyang nodded. “I agree. It’s best if we don’t have to resort to using it.”
Human Lord was rather greedy. “Hahaha, the three of us would stand to gain a fair deal if we can give His Lordship a cub.”
The three stopped absorbing devil qi and unleashed an aura from their bodies. They appeared in the void and discharged the black energy, covering the firmament. The black energy formed a spooky black energy pillar that pierced the formations below.
A six-corner star below the earth shone. They managed to corrode the formation. Howbeit, its energy was still there. Thus, it attacked the pillar in the void using qi breakers. The three fired back with their devil qi from above.
The star swayed. Its light gradually dimmed down. The devil qi rushed to it, corroding it. The chasm shrieked. Hideous tentacles manifested and assaulted the formation. The devils’ life force was extremely strong if one were to consider that they were only dealing with the outer perimeter thus far.
“Drats! They’ve isolated the outside world’s flames. I wonder if I can utilise the formation’s ability,” Dan Zong cursed. “Disciples, attack the barrier with everything you have, or Pill Valley will be faced with a catastrophe!”
Pill Valley was the guardians of the location the devils were sealed ever since they were sealed away. It was essentially their purpose in life for tens of thousands of decades, and they diligently did so without failure.
The dozens of adepts blasted their abilities and summoned their weapons. Elder Dan utilised his flamethrower, a fire-red cauldron, their sect’s Celestial Weapon, Bloodmark Cauldron, rippling the voids and attacking the enemy’s divine souls.
Grand Elder wielded a scarlet long sword with a bloodmark with a resemblance to the furnace.
Elder Dan activated his weapon’s ability, extending his area of effect to the entire dimension! He smashed the cauldron through the firmament, rattling the barrier.
Worry immediately gripped the three on the other side.
A titanic sword sat announced its presence with its flashy glow and size. Grand Elder stood with his hands behind his back. He commanded it to shake with a glare, blasting away the landscape. “Slash!” commanded Grand Elder, golden flames enveloping him.
The sword sprayed a red blast over thirty kilometres long and brought it down, bloody blade slashing down a rainfall of blood with ear-splitting volume. The attack punctured holes in the barrier. Grand Elder’s divine soul’s aura shut everyone down. The combined attack finally rattled the barrier.
Earth Lord: “Brother Longyang, you stall them. Leave the seal to us.”
“All right.” Longyang summoned a black mirror with plenty of divine markings, instantly grabbing Yang Tian’s attention.
