Mount Tai
Jade Emperor Temple was located on Jade Emperor Peak. The old buildings had been renovated. Qing Xiaoyue acted as a tour guide. Yang Tian sensed unique energy from the ancient temple; he pondered if it was a divine temple. Inside the temple was a copper statue of Jade Emperor, the first monarch of the world.
Yang Tian couldn’t obtain the dormant things hidden in the temple since could not use his powers. He sighed and left. He wandered around. Eventually, he stopped at a modest shrine with traces of dao. He could hear a dao voice. He was not sure if he saw a deity’s phantom. The World Seal was something only divine artefacts could produce. It could subdue adepts.
According to Qing Xiaoyue, an ancient monarch watched over nature and deities via the shrine. Yang Tian wondered if there was a monarch’s technique. He wanted to examine the shrine, but he stopped when he noticed the odd gazes on him – not as though he could learn anything because he did not have his powers.
The duo wandered around outside again. The dormant Eastern Sea Divine Jewel suddenly pointed in a specific direction, putting a smile on Yang Tian’s face. He sensed Life and Death Qi as he approached the destination. The Qi came from the bottom of the cliff.
Qing Xiaoyue: “What are you planning to do?”
“Going down there to take a look. Something’s strange about it.” Yang Tian sensed Yin and Yang Qi capable of completing his Life and Death Rule.
“What? You want to go down?” Qing Xiaoyue wrapped her arms around Yang Tian’s and smiled. “I’m going with you.”
After ensuring nobody was looking, Yang Tian leapt off the cliff. It was not a particularly long descent; their destination was not the bottom, either. Part way down, he hit the cliff face with a palm strike, creating a cave. Yin and Yang Qi burst out of the cave. A Yin and Yang symbol rotated into the sky. He surmised it was a natural creation. He wondered how the polar opposites or life and death were formed in one place. The diagram was called Yin and Yang, Life and Death Diagram. There was a mark on the wall.
Qing Xiaoyue was amazed there was a cave. She asked if it was where immortals cultivated.
The cave interior was simple. There were only stone tables and chairs. It was clean inside. There was a cushion that looked sparkling newl; Qing Xiaoyue could not find a blemish on it. Yang Tian took it off her. She glared at him and puffed her cheeks. He poked it with his fingers. The yellow cushion soared through the air. The shiny Yin and Yang, Life and Death Diagram manifested.
Eastern Sea Divine Jewel controlled both of the powers in the zone. The Yin and Yang Qi would have vanished if it was not for the jewel. Both of them were amazed. Yang Tian did not take it. He closed his eyes slightly. He sensed his body transforming. The extremes, his life Source and the curse he was afflicted with confronted each other. They moved according to the direction. He was excited about the prospect of using the curse to boost his cultivation immensely! He could do it with the power of Yin and Yang!
Yang Tian smiled. He jabbed the cushion with his finger again. More Chaos Qi discharged. The diagram looked more and more dreamlike. The details of the patterns were sharper. His eyes released Life and Death Qi. He already grasped how Yin and Yang, Life and Death Diagram accomplished the same goal via different meas. He just needed to grasp the profound details to finish learning the skill! He could even take the artefact!
Yang Tian sat on thin air. He fused his body with the diagram.
