Almighty – Ch. 877

Mount Tai

Qing Xiaoyue raised her fist with a smile when the group left. She then left the hotel with Yang Tian. She told him to head about five hundred metres east and asked if they were going to fly after recalling the scene of him speeding back to the hotel from the mall.

Yang Tian nodded. “I guess.”

Qing Xiaoyue hugged Yang Tian’s arm. He asked, “What are you doing?”

Qing Xiaoyue pouted. “Aren’t we going to fly? I need to hang on tight. What if I fall?”

“Fall?”

As if a cultivator could not protect an ordinary mortal.

Qing Xiaoyue suddenly felt the ground move. She clung tightly to Yang Tian’s arm and asked if they were flying. Yang Tian was actually walking on the ground; however, he was going ultra fast. All of a sudden, he halted. Qing Xiaoyue excitedly looked around and asked, “Where are we now?”

Yang Tian summoned Eastern Sea Divine Jewel to his hand and released Chaos Qi. It frightened Qing Xiaoyue back a few steps. It shone a light. Yang Tian determined an artefact resonated with the jewel. He suspected it was another divine jewel. He began to think he might have been able to collect the entire collection of divine jewels on the planet.

“What is that, Brother Yang Tian?”

“A treasure,” replied Yang Tian, absentminded.

With a flick of his hand, the duo instantly teleported to a crowded zone. The people were stunned to see them. They were on Mount Tai, a glowing mountain collecting Celestial Qi. Qing Xiaoyue could not believe they travelled twenty kilometres in the blink of an eye.

Yang Tian looked up at the mountain the size of an ant compared to the mountains on Sun Continent. He had a feeling something was buried underneath.

Mount Tai was considered the main mountain amongst the five mountains and the first mountain in the world. It had a cultural impact on Chinese culture since ancient times. Every monarch would worship it. It was as if the nation’s fate was connected to it and some unknown ancient corpse was hidden there.

Clouds shrouded the peak. Yang Tian found it more and more amazing.

Qing Xiaoyue excitedly said, “My grandfather said Mount Tai is the main mountain among the Nine Great Sacred Mountains and controlled the planet’s Original Qi.”

Yang Tian knew about Nine Great Sacred Mountains. He gazed up at the sky. He was not sure if the energy that motivated him into visiting was his imagination or not. He climbed the mountain with a weight on his chest. He saw someone in a daoist robe on the mountain. Thrilled, he approached the individual but was disappointed owing to the individual’s lack of energy.

Yang Tian squinted. He sensed another unique type of energy that was vast and harmonious flit across the sky. He could not identify it in time. He peered to the mountain peak and had a feeling the energy assembled there.

Qing Xiaoyue pointed to the peak and said, “That is Jade Emperor Peak.”

Monarchs worshipped the gods at Jade Emperor Peak.

Yang Tian nodded and headed to Jade Emperor Peak. It was full of profoundness. He thought might have find some clues to deepen his understanding of what happened to Dao Sect and why Original Qi was sealed.
