It would have been hell to try and subdue the released captives. Humans would fight back as fiercely as a lion woken from its slumber. They started ripping apart the devil adepts. The grateful humans assembled and raced to Yang Tian.
The devils couldn’t bear to kill Zhou An0 because he would be a force to be reckoned with once he escaped. After all, he reportedly reached Deity Dao.
There was a golden divine light above Yang Tian’s head that he didn’t recognise. The light exuded a relaxing feeling. The light was all his! It was Merit! He was granted it because he freed all of the blood slaves. A monarch granted Merit would be amazing!
Nightmare dragon: “Absorb the energy. It’s Merit Energy! You have obtained Merit!”
First Divine Son knew some of the plans Devil Lord had back then, including constructing the prison and killing humans. He did it so that he could obtain Merit. He just needed to deceive the heavens to hide it was all just his convoluted plot.
The elder with the emperor’s robe faced up and laughed. “You devils spent so many years scheming, yet we have obtained Merit. Hahaha! This is hilarious! This is hilarious!”
Merit appeared above Zhou An. “Hahaha, I deserve a reward for coming up with the Divine Soul technique for sure!”
After he consumed the Merit, Zhou An glowed. If he could get his hands on enough Merit, he could reach Deity!
Yang Tian: “How do I absorb this?”
Nightmare dragon: “Use Heaven Restoration Divine Cauldron! It will also make it impregnable, invincible, will erase evil and you can shoot it out for other uses!”
The collection of Merit shook the void.Every time a human cultivator stepped out, he was granted some Merit. How much was granted varied depending on who it was. Saving people wasn’t enough to obtain it. One had to contribute a great deal.
Sensing the presence of all the Merit that arrived before Divine Devil returned – which wasn’t part of the plan – the devil guardians of the various underground palaces headed over. They couldn’t figure out how a human managed to infiltrate when only Divine Children and Elders knew of the prison’s location. They were in for a surprise.
The rescue’s success was all thanks to Triad Divine Fire and Zhou An. That was why they were granted Merit. Yang Tian was the one who initiated the entire plan, so he was granted the most Merit.
Yang Tian sucked his Merit into Heaven Restoration Divine Cauldron. It rumbled loudly in his cauldron. Golden mist sprayed out.
First Divine Son reactivated all of the killing formations in the prison to kill Yang Tian. Hostile energy spread around Yang Tian. Xiaobai bit off another bar and told Xin Yu, “Hurry! Hurry! We’re out of time!”
The divine flames from the reactivated killing formation already began to take lives.
“I don’t think so!” First Divine Son clenched his fists, thereby closing the cracks Yang Tian and Xiaobai made.
“Die!” The golden titan attacked the surrounding formation markings.
“Go!” Yang Xiao exclaimed, pushing Xin Yu out of the cage.
“Dad, hurry!” Yang Tian tried to reach into the cave, but the pressure from the killing formations had him coughing blood.
“Don’t worry about me! Get your mother out of here!” Yang Xiao waved.
“Brother Xiao!” cried Xin Yu.
Black light sealed the opening Yang Tian made.
Yang Xiao: “Go. Tian, you must get your mother out! Go or I’ll disown you! Go… Go!”
