The sealer was an ancestor adept. Yang Tian didn’t expect Cao Clan’s reinforcements to arrive so fast. The elder with the Black Tortoise Formation Flag laughed. “Haha, today will be your funeral!”
“Hmph!” Yuan Xia dismembered the elder with a red divine stone.
Yuan Xia picked up the flag and frowned. The ancestor wasn’t going to let them walk out of consideration for Yuan Xia’s background, especially after all they did.
“We might have a chance if you refine the Formation Flags!” Yang Xiao left.
“There’s not enough time…” Yuan Xia pursed her lips.
Yang Tian used an artefact that would allow him to refine the four flags in time.
Outside the cave, Cao Jiang laughed. “Hahaha, none of you will escape!”
Cao Clan was angry about the loss of five Autarch Realm adepts in a short span of time and the damage to their formation. It was unacceptable to have suffered such severe losses after running the show for so long.
A golden beast roared. Its golden qi and blood entered the furnace. It charged to the door to escape. The other creatures also decided to flee helter skelter.
“Hmph!” The cold snort was cold, literally.
A creature trembled. His mind cracked. He bled from his nose and mouth. His legs went weak.
Same person in a calm, yet aggressive, voice: “Die, ants…”
Correct, they were ants to Cao Clan’s ancestor.
Inside Ancestral Dragon Ring, wisps of golden light and Yang Energy stirred. The four flags fluttered, gusting up gales. The four celestial beasts’ phantoms manifested. Xiaobai howled. A Deification subdued the world. Bloodline power descended. The four celestial beasts quivered. The four celestial beasts’ Blood and Essence were found in the Formation Flags, but that was nothing to one of the strongest Heaven Devourer Divine Beasts. The four celestial beasts’ resistance rapidly weakened. Yang Tian took out Sun Divine Water and refined the four flags at top speed.
The interior of the cave was bloody. Limbs were strewn.
“Fourth Uncle…” Cao Jiang was elated to see a genius, and a former holy son, from Cao Clan’s previous generation. He was young, middle-aged man, yet he was already an Omnipotent Realm cultivator.
Fourth Uncle: “Where is Fiend Mirror?”
Cao Jiang revealed a grim expression. “It…”
Regarding the cave up ahead, Fourth Uncle couldn’t sense the four adepts he assigned. “Something’s wrong…”
Cao Jiang instantly suspected the three supposed brothers. Two of them stayed in the cave. If Yuan Xia escaped, Yuan Clan would go at them with a vengeance. Since Cao Jiang was responsible for the mess, he wouldn’t be able to absolve the blame if anything happened.
Fourth Uncle suddenly went red in the face. After a few heavy pants, he bled from his mouth.
Cao Jiang: “Fourth Uncle, you…”
Realising the Divine Souls in the four flags had been exterminated, Fourth Uncle brayed, “My Formation Flags!
Grimly, Cao Jiang uttered, “What…?”
Boom! The cave up ahead collapsed. Light and energy ejected. Beams shot out in every direction. One was directed at Fourth Uncle, Cao Zhen.
“How dare you?!” Cao Zhen glowed and fired a small seal from his forehead.
Boom! The approach divine light bent. Rule power dispersed.
“You have a death wish!” Cao Zhen knew the enemy was using his four flags against him.
Someone shouted. Red rays of light shot out. Fear was in the air. Red pillars were split. Rule power’s large hand headed to a hazy void. A back tortoise soared through the sky. Profound patterns intersected and formed light nets. Cao Zhen didn’t expect his opponent to be so proficient with Void Trap Formation.
Boom! Rule’s big hand struck the light net. The void collapsed. The cave rocked. The net bent. The tortoise in hiding belted and descended. Cao Zhen punched out a large dragon. The dragon split and exploded the black tortoise.
Yang Tian bled from his mouth. His organs felt as though they were jumbled around.
Yuan Xia: “Cao Zhen is a former holy son and previous-generation genius. Don’t underestimate him.”
