Golden Dragon Sacred Elixir!
Group of hostile adepts: “Catch the fatso, and kill him!”
Chubby was lucky they couldn’t fly in there, or he’d already have been caught. Yang Tian struggled to keep up with Chubby’s pace, though. After ten minutes of chasing Chubby, they came across an ancient and golden temple somewhat hidden, yet somewhat visible in a haze. They guessed it was where the real graveyard was Chubby was stuck between entering and leaving.
Chubby wanted to slap himself for mumbling under his breath. His Brother Fengzi didn’t even appear to save him. His own astute mind became his undoing… In the end, he decided to gamble and sprinted in. His allies followed suit, leaving the others with astonished looks. Eventually, they decided to go after them.
Chubby blasted a path open. A dragon kilometres long blasted boulders apart to open a path. A potent smell hit his nose. He went inside and looked around randomly. The stone doors glowed. A golden light shone down. The golden items were the source of the golden light and recitals. Chubby energetically picked up a vajra baton. The Buddhist baton had Buddhism attributes and mysterious energy.
Yang Tian’s group entered. They were gleeful to see the floating items. Yang Tian picked up a colourful light with a Celestial Flame burning inside. When he blew it gently, wisps of the Celestial Flame set an inferno. He then grabbed another item, but it was too late as the outside’s divine light covered every inch of land, indicating a large group was approaching. He stopped in his tracks and said, “Run!” as he took off with his allies.
Unique types were mind blown when they entered and saw the items. Divine seas flooded the place. Most chose to escape, though. The outermost items were the worst quality.
Yang Tian and company were delighted to hear Xiaobai say, “Let’s hurry. There’s good stuff inside.”
The stone doors around them had yet to open. They sped inside with Xiaobai as their navigator. They soon saw a vibrant light spreading over a large radius coming from an ancient palace. A light fragrance grazed their noses. Yang Tian’s pores opened. Dao recitals boomed. A mere breath of the herb was enough to refine his blood and flesh a tad. Excited about the prospects, they infiltrated. The inside was a small courtyard brimming with the smell of herbs unlike outside.
Out of nowhere, Chubby extended a hand to stop them when he sensed vitality leaking out. “Wait. Something’s odd.”
Chubby used his third eye to look inside. The divine glow and smell told all. “It’s a human-shaped precious herb!”
Hearing the ruckus behind them, Yang Tian hurried in. “Hurry!”
The human-shaped herb awoke as soon as Yan TIan entered. The herb’s eyes were bright. His vitality was potent. They pondered if it was the first time he encountered humans.
“A human-shaped herb!” belted some elder. He quickly smacked himself for his careless blunder.
Everyone who heard him immediately raced in. Yang Tian powered up the second they reacted. Yang Tian brought out a divine scroll and locked down the herb using Wind Locking Jewel. A child prodigy transformed into a small golden dragon. It was frightened for it knew they’d eat it.
Yang TIan: “Golden dragon precious herb!”
Yang Tian used Star Scroll to trap the small golden dragon. Alas, it was able to shake it off using its vitality. It then shook its tail and dug its way into the ground. Then, Xiaobai tried absorbing the dragon using his mouth. The startled dragon whipped its tail to disperse Xiaobai’s suction force. Unlike last time, the dragon was to slow. A golden vajra jewel dropping down was already too close.
“Shield!” belted the herb, desperately trying to break free.
The herb managed to get half of its body out thanks to its speed, but the golden vajra jewel caught its tail. It cried as it tried to dig into the ground. Yang Tian swiftly used his jewel to wrap up half of its tail and restrain it completely.
Chubby raised an eyebrow and called out to the wild old geezers behind him. “Where do you think you’re going?! How dare this herb try and escape through the earth. I’m going to have to teach you a lesson!”
Xiaobai: “Exactly. Catch him!”
A taotie came out of nowhere and pushed everyone aside. “Out of the way!”
Yang Tian was grateful the taotie came barging in. He used the gale the taotie generated as momentum to move out of the ancient palace and smiled. The taotie went to stomp down and capture the human-shaped herb, but he failed, as the earth didn’t budge. When the taotie thought Chubby, who dug into the ground, was familiar, he checked the palace again to find they had all left. The enraged taotie scanned the distressed people around and revealed a savage smile.
“Die!” The taotie took in a breath and went on a killing spree out of the blue.
The half of the dragon tail caught was already turned into eight golden drops of divine water. The water was close to divine elixirs and herbs. As a body refinement tool, it was considered a sacred elixir, for it strengthened the user’s ability. Chubby was glad to have obtained that much, but he sighed as they weren’t able to capture the main herb, which would supply an infinite supply of divine water.
A while later, Xiaobai relied on his attraction to treasures to find a pill room, where a violent fight was taking place. Further inside was a special, old crimson pill furnace. Somebody already activated it. A golden pill floated by its mouth. A small blue seal contained its energy from leaking. The pill marks were profound, nevertheless. As soon as Yang Tian entered, the black bird exclaimed, “That’s a nirvana pill!”
Yang Tian got a glimpse of the pill. “What does it do?”
The black bird wiped its drool and stifled its voice. “It can grow bones, so it can create a great body even if you only have one drop of blood left.”
Yang Tian fired up. “What?”
Yang Tian was set on obtaining it after he heard that. He never forgot to refine his body despite Yang Xiao’s unknown circumstances. He no longer needed to fret because the pill could act as a replacement.
