Encountering a Mad Man!
Adepts exploded due to a violent vibration. Blood and bones flew. The floor was bloody. Everyone freaked out. One step resulted in death. Even the decisive Yang Tian was scared. People fled the area. All that was left was a floor littered with corpses. Was that punishment for infiltrating the divine temple? How cruel. Some regretted it, but some were reluctant to leave. Only the Buddha remained standing uninhibited.
A spectre appeared. Everyone looked over. It was a black and dry figure that died ages ago. He was tall. His eye sockets were empty. Black blood still coursed down. He had a hole in his chest with blood stains. He held a bloodstained spear. His steps sent tremors through the ground and split it.
Chubby was shocked. Yang Tian was shocked. Chubby wasn’t convinced he was from the primordial era since his corpse should’ve rotted and been immobile. The black bird explained he probably emerged thanks to the seals in the divine temple coming off.
A youth: “I’m here… You can’t stop me, haha…”
Everyone was shocked.
He wasn’t dead!
Yang Tian was shocked.
The eyeless figure shouted and blasted lights. Everyone ran. Everyone was scared when he cried, “Die!” The Buddha responded, “Fight!”
Thunder clapped. Buddhist scripture recitals hit ears. The divine temple shook when they spoke. Boom! The spear glowed. Countless afterimages appeared. The blood came off. A moon and sun sunk. Stars fell. The sun almost exploded. The spear yielding youth wanted the spear. The phantasmal Buddha sitting in the afterimages shouted the mantra, “Weapon!” resulting in a golden circle descending. Said circle was none other than Vajra Jewel and reminding Yang Tian of the man in white’s supreme power, since they both materialised weapons.
The mantra came from Buddhism’s nine mantras. Chubby was surprised to learn someone still knew them.
Besides Vajra Jewel, there was also a strong of jade jewels. Buddhists sat above them to recite Buddhist scriptures. Xiaobai was ecstatic to have picked them up.
A vajra baton came out and went wild. A divine lantern poured a divine sea down. Those with items never knew the items were so good! Chubby was vexed he didn’t take one.
The clash was epic.
The Buddha summoned more and more items.
The road ahead was off limits with the divine sea there.
Yang Tian wondered if there were more adepts of that calibre inside. He was worried he didn’t see Yang Ba yet. Yang Ba was closest to obtaining an Inheritance since he possessed a relic.
Everyone reluctantly retreated.
The battle continued after non-stop action. The Buddha started to weaken, though. The eyeless adept shook the world using sheer brute strength.
Eyeless man to the people: “Who am I? I did say you can’t contain me. I can’t be destroyed. I control life!”
Chubby thought the adept had lost his mind because the eyeless man laughed hysterically as he rampaged.
Another adept appeared.
He looked up hostilely at the figure above. “Who are you? Come down and fight me, or I’ll rip you apart!”
