Mysterious Item
The adepts following behind Yang Tian looked to the treasures floating in the air. The Dao Weapons were superb quality. They raced to the treasures. Lethal light beams and whistling winds went wild.
When Yang Tian looked up, he saw a unique type try to snatch his Chaos Divine Seal. It emitted divine sounds whilst firing Chaos Light. In the meantime, Yang Tian fired Sword Aura from Black Devil, reducing the unique type to smithereens. Chaos Light boomed another one out of commission.
Right before Yang Tian’s fingers could touch the black rod, his body tensed up. A Star Scroll descended. The Chaos Divine Seal teleported into the star. As a result, Star Scroll’s output was augmented. Wind Locking Jewel began to shake as it tried to lock down the void. All those components were completed in a single second. A divine light suddenly split the earth, shook Star Scroll and split the Chaos Light covered inside to go for Yang Tian’s head. Star Scroll attacked the split void.
Yang Tian’s group powered up in response and intercepted with their own divine lights.
Yang Tian gnashed his teeth. “You again!”
“Die!” brayed the devil race’s youth, firing enough divine lights to cover the entire void. His attack defused their attacks, wounded and killed those within the vicinity, eventuating in others fleeing. The youth had recovered after suffering a debilitating wound and was stronger than before his injury.
The split void was scalding hot. Yang Tian tried holding the fort for a while but the youth sent him reeling. Yang Tian bled from his mouth and chest.
Yang Tian decided, “I’ll grant you your death wish!” and clenched his teeth when he looked to the rod, as he needed to ensure nobody else took it.
Yang Tian spat out a small deity. Nobody comprehended what he was doing when they could’ve fled. The youth didn’t expect Yang Tian to go there. The youth look up to the black rod and snickered condescendingly. He reached for the rod, triggering Yang Tian’s fury. Yang Tian explosively launched toward the youth.
The youth snickered. “That technique won’t work against me…”
The void stitched itself. Yang Tian’s heart sunk. His anger frustrated him. His haste gave away his intentions. He turned back and told Chubby to search for the youth, certain his Bloodline’s reaction meant the rod was Yang Clan’s treasure. Chubby, on the other hand, was bewildered as to why he wanted to search for the youth when they’d avoid him at all costs. Recalling the rod, Chubby finally decided to open his third eye.
Chubby stopped his gaze on a boiling-hot dimension not too far away. “He hasn’t left yet!”
Chubby dropped his yin yang divine talisman down. The others joined the attack, covering the sky with magical text and firing dao sounds. The divine sea crumbled the void. Clashing divine beams violently swept through.
Chubby: “He’s running.”
Yang Tian: “Chase him!”
Great Void Genius pursued the youth.
The youth imbued his rod with his energy, but he couldn’t activate it. He pressed his hand firmly on it. The robust rod didn’t budge. Before he knew it, Great Void Genius was already above him. The group opened a rift and fired a beam down. The youth snickered again and vanished.
It was going to be hard to find the youth.
Yang Tian: “Damn it!”
Chubby scratched his head. “I’ve lost him. He’s concealed his aura using some sort of item.”
Yang Tian sighed.
An ear-splitting boom broke the group’s silence.
