Yang Tian replied, “I see. It sounds as though only essence is required to activate it.”
Chubby nodded. “Correct, hehe. Now their plan is going with the wind.”
Yang Tian shook his head. “We should be cautious. It might not be able to use much of its power as a result of the restrictive rule.”
Chubby shook his head. “I wouldn’t be so sure about that given it came from the primordial era.”
XIaoji blinked and consumed a precious herb. “Let’s hurry. I won’t last much longer. We can escape once we take Wind Locking Jewel…”
Killing the celestial peng would lead to others target them. Yang Tian wrapped his Divine Sense in his Divine Dragon Soul Sealing Ornament before sneaking it out. It was loud and bright outside. The celestial peng was the most drained. The three items in the void were the strongest.
Yi Xing collected three rare items already. Yang Tian’s Divine Sense locked on to him and the three-legged crow. He then slowly moved along.
Yi Zong felt something was off about the dimension up ahead. Yang Tian tensed up and stopped. Yi Zong reasoned they’d be fine, since there were so many adepts present. Yang Tian breathed a breath of relief once Yi Zong looked away.
Yang Tian went into the jade carriage. It emitted a divine sound from within. He safely sneaked in. It was as spacious as an ancient palace in there. After a while of scouting, he spotted a restrained purple creature. He could tell it was a force to be reckoned with. He manifested Divine Dragon Soul Sealing Ornament and let it float in the void. The presence of the dragon on the ornament disturbed the jade sedan. The item spirit identified the dragon deity looking at it. The ornament’s power far surpassed its own.
Yang Tian: “Once I kill the celestial peng operating Wind Locking Jewel, can you team up with the other item souls and stop their assault?”
The item spirit didn’t dare to defy a deity. “Sure!”
Yang Tian was haughty after hearing the response. He opened his eyes back in Great Void Genius.
XIaobai’s countenance put a smile on his face and earned a nod.
“We can start now. Let’s see how powerful the forbidden weapon really is,” stated Yang Tian.
Xiaobai bounced up and down. “I’m going to roast the stuck-up bird…”
Xiaoqing, eager to try the divine bone, said “Let m-”
Xiaobai. “Shoo, shoo, you’re not good enough to wield it.”
The divine bone glowed as the energy awoke. It split the void and rained on the parade outside with a red light. Hairs stood up. Startled looks and fear appeared on faces. The celestial peng and three-legged crows’ kinsmen’s Bloodlines stirred. An imposing aura emerged. He was mighty. The celestial peng was scared silly. It was unmistakably a king Divine Beast. The divine monkey could obliterate the landscape, drop the sky and shake stars with a wave of his hand.
The monkey punched at the celestial peng. The void burst. The celestial peng was reduced to a bloody mess.
