Meeting the Golden Battle Gorilla Again
Notwithstanding the intensity of the fight between the two elders and dozens of clones, Yang Tian was able to keep, albeit barely and suffering more wounds over time.
Red eyes from a cave watched on. The creature recognised the youth on the run; the youth was the one who gifted it an herb. The creature curled up and muttered, “I can’t help you; those two freaks are too strong.”
Yang Tian halted and recalled his clones. Seeing Yang Tian stop, the elders were confused for a second, but then laughed: “Not running anymore?”
Yang Tian, busy searching for something with his eyes, reacted surprised when he was about to answer. The two elders quickly caught on to the demon deity aura up ahead. The creature poked its head out upon sensing a deity looking at it. Beasts nearby roared. The elders wondered if they disturbed a demon. That wouldn’t be good news for them as they massacred groups of creatures during the pursuit.
A golden staff Yang Tian was familiar with descended. The owner of an imposing voice and the staff brayed, “How dare you two kill the demon race’s creatures?!”
The mountains rumbled as if they were calling for the slaughter of the two Almighty adepts. The two elders immediately turned tail, as they knew they stood no chance. The owner of the imposing voice brayed, “You’re not going anywhere.”
The golden staff swung in, crushing one of the elder’s head and body. His ally shrieked as a chill ran down his spine. Before he could utter a word, his head was splattered. The creature was estimated to be close to an Autarch Realm cultivator, categorising it as a Demon Emperor.
Yun’er buried her head in Yang Tian’s chest – her haven. “Brother Yang Tian, what do we do now?”
“It’ll be fine.”
The creature in the void shifted its gaze over to Yang Tian and snickered. The golden creature emerged from the void and was dumbstruck to see Yang Tian. The stupid tiger in the cave recognised the Golden Battle Gorilla. Thus, it sped out and cried out to it in a stifled voice. Recognising the ape, as well, Yun’er clenched her fists. The ape saw straight through Yang Tian’s disguise technique. “You?”
“Indeed, Elder.” Yang Tian struggled to understand why the ape was at City of Chaos after being called for. Did Demons Token have something to do with City of Chaos?
Yun’er was stupefied Yang Tian interacted with the creature so casually. The stupid tiger didn’t expect it, either. Anyhow, the ape did his signature face-scratching gesture and bounced around awkwardly: “There’s no need to be so formal.”
Yang Tian was relieved to see the ape awkward instead of hostile. “Elder, may I ask why you are here?”
“Oh…” The ape scratched his nose and swept his gaze around. “Dao Deity Mountain is opening soon. Don’t tell me you didn’t know?”
Yang Tian didn’t follow at first. After sifting through his knowledge base, he recalled Elder Mountains and Rivers told him to go there. Yun’er was excited.
The ape scanned Yang Tian. “You’ve ascended to Battle Emperor Realm? Hang on, you haven’t!”
“Hehe, not yet.”
The ape scratched the back of his hand. Yang Tian was amazing to him. His reaction when he looked to Yun’er told Yang Tian he could tell she was a divine body owner. Yang Tian, therefore, instantly raised his vigilance.
