Battle King’s Lightning Tribulation
Thunder behind the dark clouds boomed as the three chaos lightning dragons descended toward Yang Tian. Sensing the lightning, Yang Xiao mumbled, “Tian’s cultivation methods must’ve caused the Battle King lightning tribulation to change!”
The destructive lightning swarmed Yang Tian. Countless dragons emerged from the lightning with sparks. Strong gales blew. He sat down in the sea of lightning. He removed his river overhead and released crimson vital energy from his body, mouth and nose included. His energy ripples parted the lightning and clouds. His glow even vanquished the lightning.
Li Cheng’s bones cracked as he clenched his fists because he just helped Yang Tian get through the lightning tribulation. Those around Li Cheng avoided him due to his rage.
A vacuum formed over Yang Tian’s head. He absorbed the lightning into his body, forming a vortex. He entered one of the dragon’s bellies and roamed it, which was a risky manoeuvre. The dragon roared and tried to devour him. The other two dragons moved to imprison him inside.
A field of lightning covering over thirty square kilometres spawned. Li Clan’s defence formation beneath it kicked into overdrive, sundering the lightning field at the cost of countless bloodstones. The people inside the formation were furious. If they rashly intervened, the lightning would try and kill them when it sensed them.
A striking middle-aged man with golden eyes, in a stern voice, asserted, “It’s only a Battle King’s lightning tribulation, and it should be over soon.”
Elder in white: “I don’t think so. The kid is full of tricks. If this continues, we won’t have the resources to continue.”
Another elder: “What’s Li Cheng doing?! He can’t even stop a runt?!”
The loud thunderclap lit the area white.
Could Yang Tian make it?
Yang Tian used his cultivation without hesitation, absorbing vital essence, for the reason the sea of lightning concealed what he was doing. Not many people knew about Dao Sutra; Yang Xiao only realised it was Dao Sutra as he had a look. Still, it was better to be safe than sorry. Elder Gu, for one, would likely vie for it.
Yang Tian’s small figures refined the lightning’s energy into pure qi and blood then delivered it into his organs. He found it could devour lightning tribulations and convert energy for the first time. He examined the pentachrome energy that was almost gone inside him. The reason he could ascend several realms whilst steadily was because he put his body through a transformation – or more accurately, a rebirth phase. He pursed his lips into a smile.
Yang Tian’s mind directed the sparse pentachrome energy to his four Dao Physiques to complete his first new world. His viscera were shrouded in smog, and an eye-catching light flashed within. The shackles to forming his first world were almost ready to emerge.
A beauty from Skysong Sacred Grounds muttered, “That must be humanity’s peerless hero’s test. Make it or it will make it your grave!”
Many members from three sacred grounds died undertaking lightning tribulations in the past. Yang Tian’s silence, therefore, aroused suspicion he was already dead.
Only Qing Yuan laughed. “He’s probably absorbing lightning in there to reduce the energy of the outer formation’s lightning attacks.”
Thanks to Dao Sutra, Yang Tian’s body was practically tougher than that of Divine Beasts!
